I currently use my phone to make my content, what mic do you recommend for optimal sound quality. Also, can I do this type of intro with imovie?

Sounds like you’re using an iPhone. You’re gonna need a mic that can plug into your headphone port (or lightning port adapter) Look this up in Amazon “Saramonic Flexible Microphone” and yes, you should be able to do this kind of intro with iMovie. It’s all about cutting and trimming your clips at correct moments.
