Thanks for the video. A few times the Neumann's sweet touch of coloration danced around in my head enough to make me salivate for it, but for daily driving the difference was minimal. TZ Audio has hyped the X2 as inspired by the U87 and TLM103. No harm done. That hype moves boxes out of the warehouse and I want them to be successful so they stick around. If you're on a budget and you want a bargain sort of boutique K-67 in your mic locker go for it. I did. Add that to my MXL 990 modded with a K-47 and I've got those two bases covered for now. There's a whole lot more money to make before I'm in Neumann territory, if ever.

I'd like to know what kind of boom arm contraption you are using to prop up the microphones in these videos. It looks very professional!

We are using a pair of the older models of the Ultimate Support MC-125 microphone stand in this video. Thank you for watching!

Latch lake makes some incredible stands also.

My goodness the difference is almost insignificant for voice over, curious to hear it on singing vocals

Hm..I think the Heyman has a bit more warmth. The Stellar is brighter.
