For multiple cameras, you can use the normal cctv power supply and fix the dc power Connectors at the ends, which will feed into every camera

No, this cannot convert analogue cameras to IP cameras and vice versa. But you can get a recorder that takes both IP cameras and analogue cameras.

Since your device (NVR) has RJ-45 ports , you don't need a balloon. You have to connect the RJ-45 directly to the nvr

The recorder used in this process is a DVR which is meant for Analogue or AHD cameras. You can use IP cameras at the ends of the cable. Maximum cable distance should not exceed 100 meters

Hi, I have a poe switch which powers 1 ip camera which is also connected to my dvr. I have a hikvision poc camera and was wondering could I connect one end of Ethernet cable straight to my Poe switch and then on the other end use the coax to Ethernet for the camera. Will this then make the camera an ip one?

No, POC cameras need to be connected through the BNC since power is fed into the Camera through the BNC. The use of the PV ballun does not make the camera an IP camera

You can setup a battery bank with a hybrid inverter to power up the system. That will even last longer than the smaller battery type you find in power supply units. I will later cover that kind of standby power for cctv cameras

That may seem to work, but that will manifest in lines in the face of your cameras due to power deficiency to your cameras. So for very effective and clean pictures, it is good to avoid loops

The recommended Maximum Cable length for network cables is 100m, but Cable quality nowadays are quite an issue, so you may have to do 60 or 70m for best results unless you are too sure of your Cable quality .
