A 6' bed will lock in a lot of buyers although if Toyota doesn't control their dealers regarding pricing, it's a moot point. I'm interested although not going to play the Maverick games.

Love my 2022 Maverick Lariat FX/4. I have had it Jan. 20th 2022. I have hauled, dirt, rocks, Appliances, lumber, plywood, lawn movers.... etc. Also haul my two dogs. I absolutely the love lift over height of the bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People you will love that! Plus it fits into small Garage! I don't baby this thing. I have a lead foot. I'm getting 25.5 to 27 mpg. The only thing I have not liked is the recalls, that the ford Dealer didn't fix, because of parts. I'm trying to get my schedule together to get those two issues fixed. Now that they have the parts.

I've wondered about the 4 cylinder and how it will hold up after 200k ? There has been no long mileage reports yet on over 200k. 4 cylinder motors must work harder and will wear out quicker so i suspect the 3k oil changes will be the key to longevity on the maverick or any small truck . Don't fall for the 5 or 6k oil changes .

Single cab with 6" bed sure. But if it's a crew or double with a 6" bed then it would automatically be a mid size which defeats the point of this truck (compact)

Take the classy crap off and put on a mountain package..winch..heavy duty bumpers ..guards..not stuff that falls off when you go in the hills.

If they make it hybrid or Turbo then it is a mistake. They should just keep it simple like a Corolla. Naturally aspirated engine small engine.

Mini trucks never had an 8" bed, that is mid or full size and that is nearly impossible to get with quad cabs being the norm now.
