Did you ever find out? I found that the router0 model, at least going from the video, matches the ports on the 1841 router model... However it appeared in the miscellaneous folder instead of the router folder... Also when attempting to connect router0 with the cloud and the server, using the 1841 model, I was constantly confronted with red lights... It refused to connect... Using the same method to try and identify router1 was impossible as every model I could find simply did not match the layout of the router's ports in the video... And whichever router did have Serial0/0 also heartlessly provided red lights... So... I am very stumped... Very tired... And very, very frustrated... In hindsight I probably should've studied more throughout the semester instead of just before exams...

I dont understand why a straight thru cable is used to connect the wireless router to the family pc. I thought for sure that a computer and a router were like devices and that to connect like devices you would always use the cross over cable.

Hi, thanks for your great support. We can use STRAIGHT THROUGH Cable When ever we connect different device. Ex: Switch to Router, Switch to PC, Wireless router to PC etc. We use CROSS OVER Cable, when we connect same type device. Ex: Switch to Switch, Router to Router etc.
