This is different... The ULTIMATE Razer LED Light Strip

Complete your Razer Gaming Setup with the Official Razer Chroma LED Light Strip Set with fully addressable RGB LEDs that use standard 3-pin 5V connectors makes this a rather different LED strip kit than what I've typically looked at from Yeelight, Philips Hue or Govee.
One thing I didn't get to add to the video is that the USB dongle disconnects from Synapse 3 the moment your phone connects to the LED strip via Bluetooth, which means you need to unplug the USB dongle and plug it back in to gain control back of the LED strip through Synapse 3...
Until Razer fix this, I wouldn't recommend pairing the LED strip to your phone via Bluetooth.

yea but what if they end their partnership? that happened to nanoleaf as well unfortunately, i still have the razer hdk light strips and it still gets updated sometimes. Its safer to get the razer products for long term compatibility if you want everything synched in Synapse.

Depending on how razer setup the code for the animations, they could rely on a set number of expected leds per strip. if you remove leds from the strip the software still expects them to be there which could lead to weird delays regarding 'cycling' animations as leds which are not there anymore are expected.

the 50cm strip in the case looks great! could look even better if it was taped along the interior border/frame of the case! I have the same case and have a led light strip that rungs along the top and side frame groove. what did you use to control all the argb fans and light strips? I have the same case with 10 fans, a ARGB gpu anti-sag bracket. the led light strip is 4 pin so I doubt id be able to get it synced, but how did you get all the other rgb components to sync? and even work?!! would love to know what you did

the 3m tape didnt hold for me even double sided velcro tape behind my monitor didnt work so i used the screw holes and they are on the walls now, works perfectly. just make sure to use a smart plug with the power brick to turn it off and on automatically (routine) without having to press the button physically before going to bed for example!

However, do you know how I can have them turn off when I shut down my PC? Right now I can only manually turn it off or use the app on my phone.

I do not know how to make it turn off when the system turns off :( A much needed feature they should implement into Synapse 3 and/or the mobile app too

@@TechBlock Random PC tech here, I'm guessing at a minimum, a BIOS setting for the computer to not do any power to the USB ports OR the rest of the board would be needed, maybe Fast Boot as well since it's related.. It's called sleep states, S0 being your CPU and everything is fully active, S3 is Standby and helps the computer start quickly and keeps info in your RAM.. S5 is a complete shutdown, and takes the longest to start Windows. Motherboards can have wildy different settings, but those are worth a look!

For the same price i got 2 RGB lightbulbs from yeelight that are behind my monitor acting as "ambient lightning" and one yeelight lightstrip.. is not gradient tho, but the whole strip lights up in one color .. but still.. i can connect it to my google thingies, and the main thing is it is running very well with razer synapse :) yeelight even launched new app few days ago and now i can make my lights go wild :D before i could set in one effect because they werent in groups but now i can make them light up independently :) got the whole lightning setup for like 80€, its not the best but gets the work done .. :) in future i might buy some gradient strip but now im rocking this for like 1 year and im happy with that :)
