It is pretty, tho I bought mine in Best Buy and had been the worst experience ever. The motherboard died before the year, but I wasn’t able to fly to USA before the warranty expired, so Best Buy and Asus didn’t take care of the warranty. Now is technology trash. Also was too noise and get hot very fast. Be careful 😢

@@savage101. I don't think one is necessarily tied to the other. That was the specific model I got from Amazon this month. Too bad they managed to pierce through two cardboard boxes by placing a heavier one on top of mine, making a fingertip sized sulk in it's screen cover. Since I didn't have enough time to return it and get a new one, they refunded me it's full value and let me keep it.

I have the i7 12700h too and it runs at 90*C avg in games and 95*C avg in cinebench r23. The GPU runs at 80*C avg in games. Should I get a replacement unit?

sounds like its in turbo mode and should be fine. i use a laptop cooling pad under the laptop as well to help stop thermal throttling

@@dreamteamfilms3550 it is indeed on turbo mode. temps are crazy high, and I just ended up underclocking the cpu since it cannot be undervolted. The performance hit is negligible in games. It now runs at 80C avg.

Hi there! i am confused between choosing these two ( Asus F15 2022 i7 12th gen 2k resolution display & Rog strix G15 ryzen 7 6800H with same resolution) (rtx 3060) Tuf has Thunderbolt 4 but doesn't support power delivery ! and strix don't have a thunderbolt 4 but supports a power delivery through usb 3.2 gen 2 type C Tuf has a num pad and strix don't Tuf comes with a built in camera and strix don't (can be added with a clip web cam ) Strix comes with a dolby vison and tuf don't Which has a better performance in these models intel i7 12 or ryzen 6800H ? Battery back up? Does both have a mux switch? To use with programming, photoshop, editing, gaming ! which one suits the best &kindly explain why! Help me out to pick one guys! both is around 1.5 lakhs.

I7 12th gen has better performance than any amd cpu till now. But there's not much difference in gaming. And i7 sucks more battery. While amd is more battery efficient. If you want pure performance go with TUF, but TUF is a budget friendly while Strix is more premium.

Asus decided no to provide a function lock for this laptop , which baffles me. According to their support page, it requires Asus system control interface V2, which is not supported on their gaming laptops. Quite a strange decision for an otherwise great laptop.

just bought yesterday, TUF 2022, i found out that there is a little bit of gap/space in the left side when yu close the laptop and it is different with the right side, also volume button seem weird, sometimes when i press 1 time, the volume increases twice as if i press it twice, is that normal or considered as factory defect?

@@quacomc Lenovo Legion 5 pro should be in the 80-90k range for the 2021 models, Asus ROG Strix A15 should be in the 92,000 range. In addition, Lenovo will probably released their new models soon. I'm not sure if I'm right tho.

It is manageable, because both CPU and GPU fans run at 6500 and 7100 rpms. The temperature reached at about 91 C at 37 C room temperate while playing God of War

Its really hot, even if cpu is at 70-80C and you turn on turbo, the laptop itself still hot cuz they full of plastic, the hottest area is right under the monitor, i've been use it for a moth and have to lock cpu speed at 1.5ghz for normal use

Had the same problem with my MSI laptop after a softwarw update. Brought it to the service center and they replaced the entire keyboard including the trackpad. First time was under warranty, 2nd time I had to pay even though it wasn’t my fault. Best to have yours checked to while under warranty.

Definitely gaming f15, the Dash F15 one, even with the same specs, draw much smaller wattage for its GPU so “3060 Dash F15” is basically just the same as 3050 Ti
