I'm graduating student of BSAIS and I can say it is practical. You will learn the application of accounting in technology. The demand for accounting staff is declining because of different software like oracle and people soft. But if you choose BSAIS you are in demand because many company needs employee who knows accounting and information systems. For entry level you have many positions you can apply to you can apply as Information systems more on IT jobs you can also apply for accounting staff focus on accounting jobs. However you can integrate the two as accounting analyst, CISA, or data analyst these are one of high paying job right now. Pandayon but don't forget pahuyaw!!!

I feel you. Nung first year kase dito sa school namin, we have only one waiver sa Qualifying exam, sa first take mo if ndi nakaabot ng 75 may removal pa, same lang din ang process. Sadly, both first take and removal, naka 74 lang ako. Lungkot na lungkot ako non, but I pursue BSAIS, and this video enlightened me that the future of graduates of BSAIS still broad.

BSAIS 4th year na po ako, pero before this, I was part of the BSA program (dream ko po maging CPA until now), I was so disheartened and disappointed, since the reason why I couldn't continue and maintain my grades while in BSA is something I couldn't control, I was in 50/50 situation to die if I hadn't took my surgery and gave up many early months in my BSA program, knowing the information sa video po, nabibigyan po talaga ako ng motivation to continue and go back to a BSA program.

Planning ko rin po talaga mag-BSA since ayoko po masayang yung strand/track na natutunan ko when I was in SHS pero nang tumagal akong tambay (4 years stopped), naguguluhan ako kasi baka di ko kaya. Bata pa lang po kasi ako, gustong gusto ko po talaga magstudy about computer kaya kani-kanina lang, naisipan kong maghanap ng ibang course na may accounting and computer subject. BSAIS 2nd Year po ako ngayon. 1st year wala akong kapassion passion, nung patapos nung 1st sem 1st year nagcram ako kala ko babagsak ako at uulit ako pero araw araw nung January 12-14 hours a day nagaral ako at nakapasa ng 1st sem. nung 2nd sem iniba ko at sobrang saya ko at nagiba ako at di lang pumasa at pinaghirapan ko. Thank you sir and ma'am. It's an unfortunate day for me since di Ako nakapasok sa passers Ng BSU for BSAIS infact Walang list Ng passers. So, di ko alam kung I pursue ko paba to. Iniisip ko mag apply nalang for BS Business administration sa ibang school even though I don't have interest sa course. I originally plan talaga na mag Computer Engineering or anything related sa technology but I end up in ABM track. So Nung Nakita ko BSAIS sa list Ng mga course nag spark talaga interest ko. @@ninaliecastro2298 @ninalie castro Hi! May I ask? What's your strand sa Senior HS? Ksi if you took ABM, then your past accounting subjects will surely help you sa higher level of accgt. If not, I suggest na mag advance study ka. Know the basics of accgt Para maka-cope up ka sa lessons. Sa school namin, required Ang mga kaklase kong non-abm na mag bridging. Sa IS nmn, well, mahirap tlga at first. Lalo na kapag wala Kang idea about this. Therefore, I suggest na i-familriarize mo na Ang sarili mo sa Mundo Ng programming/coding. My first programming language is Python, and I'm still learning this, as well as the other programming languages. Good thing, may available na mga educational videos/ tutorials/crash courses about programming sa KZbin na mapapanood natin. Kaya don't worry bunso, tiwala lng sa Diyos at sa iyong sarili, Hindi mo namamalayan graduate ka na pala! Best of luck and God bless. Enjoy your BSAIS journey ❤️❤️❤️

@@ma.andreasubibi4055 am an Abm student po but sadly di po ako naka sabay because in when i was an gr11 in the start of our accounting 1 i didn't get a chance to join the class because i was confined in the hospital and in gr12 nahirapan po ako makasabay in our class cause kalalabas ko lang po ng ospital and nagpapagaling sa sakit ko din po ako at the same time. and am also not that good in term of tech or programming am not good in using like computer or laptop something tech, so am really nervous that am gonna have a hard time specially now that new normal is still,😭can i ask din po di po na narerecall or ituturo ulit ung mga ganung lesson po?? thank you po

Since BSAIS is Accounting related course, expect that this has subjects that involve computations and Mathematics. May ibang subjects sila na pareho pero ang focus ng BSAIS ay sa business, accounting and computer system while BSA is pure accounting.

Masters Degree is not a prerequisite para maka pag take ka ng CPA board exam. I'm afraid you really need to take the BSA degree if you want to become a CPA. Below are the requirements needed for a person to be able to take the Philippine CPA Licensure Exam. Admission Requirements for Examinations. No person shall be admitted to the examination unless he is: • a citizen of the Philippines; • of good moral character; • is a holder of the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy conferred by a school, college, academy or institute duly recognized and/or accredited by the CHED or other authorized government offices; and • has not been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude. • Educational Qualification / Training / Experience: • B.S. in ACCOUNTANCY or its equivalent • BSC, BBA, BSBA graduates as of Dec. 1994 with certificate of units earned.

I'm afraid you really need to take the BSA degree if you want to become a CPA. Below are the requirements needed for a person to be able to take the Philippine CPA Licensure Exam. Admission Requirements for Examinations. No person shall be admitted to the examination unless he is: • a citizen of the Philippines; • of good moral character; • is a holder of the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy conferred by a school, college, academy or institute duly recognized and/or accredited by the CHED or other authorized government offices; and • has not been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude. • Educational Qualification / Training / Experience: • B.S. in ACCOUNTANCY or its equivalent • BSC, BBA, BSBA graduates as of Dec. 1994 with certificate of units earned.

Shifting is possible given that you meet the requirements of your schools to qualify in BSA. Wala board exam ang BSAIS.

Depede s evaluation ng department mo kasi for sure may maccredit n subjects na nakuha mo na sa BSAIS going to BSA. Possible na irregular 2nd year ka kung most ng mga nakuha mo n subjects sa first year ay macredit.

Tapusin mo nlang bsais course mo, then hanap ka school after 4 years of studying BSAIS, hanap ka school na nagooffer ng 1 year or 2years BSA course. Bali double degree holder ka na nyan in 5 years or 6years of studying.
