thanks for the amazing review... I have flown my Air3S a few times... learning so much from you! I wanted to go out and fly tonight, but the weather is not that inviting. I will try to navigate the camera settings that you recommended inside my home, so I am not trying to figure it out in the field. You live in a beautiful rural area... the castle is amazing... I would be afraid to fly my drone that far away for fear of losing Direct Line of Sight. Cool Landing on top of your vehicle's sunroof... haha

Is there any chance you could do a review of the Air 3S when connected to the Avata 2 Goggles and the Motion Controller? I have not seen any reviews. What would be interesting is the range when using the ham hack in the Googles and whether you get FCC mode like you do with the Avata 2. Your reviews are excellent by the way.

Good review, well, I'm not too sure about flying the drone in pitch dark as you lose 80% of your drone safety sensors. You'd be relying on lidar and visual only. But it's great to see the video quality at 30 fps is clear and useful for night photography. You'll have to come to Canada and fly here in the Pacific West Coast. Cheers 🍻!

Hello Hendrik. This is just my personal observation as an AIR 3S owner but the bag/pouch is really too small going forward. You need room for a charger, lanyard, filters props, regulatory documents and perhaps other accessories I'm not thinking about right now. Consequently, I ordered a larger hard case for the Air3S and will use the pouch for the Neo and stuff which I just bought.

I bought the DJI Air 3S 3 days ago. Haven't flown it yet. It has been raining here. In Australia it is illegal for private citizens to fly drones at night unless you have a special permit.

My hard learned lesson as a professional photograoher is to avoid in-between formats. So Ill be jumping from the Min 2i to Mavic 3 and skipping this Air 3s

That's good that it didn't want to land on your roof because your sunroof looks like water. So maybe it's a way to keep the Drone out of water. You should test that LOL

The batteries are NOT cross compatible! Written in the manual! If they work anyways... that's another story

Who flies low to the ground at night to need LIDAR, and no 5k camera so I will stick with my Air 3
