Checking on their respective websites and in the UK the MB Air 15 M3 base is currently the same price as the Surface Laptop 6 (15-inch), so I didnt really get the claims that the Surface Laptop is better value. Both charge £200 per upgrade, be it SSD or RAM. Maybe where you live but in the UK and US nearly all premium ultrabooks are priced between £1500-1600 for 16GB/512GB. As ultrabooks go, if you are not dependent on Windows apps then the Macbook Air or MB Pro 14 easily beats the Surface Laptop 6. We can only hope that the consumer versions with the Snapdragon X Elite offer something more comparable with the Macs.

@@bradavon True, but that is the current Surface Laptop, so it is what it is! The consumer Surface Laptop/Pro will likely have the X Elite chip, and FWIW; the consumer versions will likely be as expensive, if not more, as they will be ARM-based.

Apple MacBook M3 is silent laptop! There are no fans inside! Beat all or most of the Intel benchmarks even in Intel Ultra 7 series which must have fan inside.😮 Air has the longest runtime too!😊

No it's not, do not watch at models with U, they are cut from factory, watch at the normal laptops and see diff in power and speed twice as well)
