Bixby is great to do things with your Samsung watch or Samsung phone (settings, alarms, opening apps, engage/disengage ambient sound (Samsung Earbuds), etc. I used to totally hate Bixby, but they have improved it significantly.

Great video! I just got a refurbed W5 Pro wifi model. Learning a lot here. I still have my regular W5 44mm LTE for almost 2 years. So useful especially when you get older (I'm 65) to monitor health indicators.

If you have trouble setting up Google Assistant read this... When setting up Google assistant, it's best to wait for 15 minutes once your watch setup is complete. While not mentioned, the 15 minutes will likely allow Google Play Store to update Play Services and other Assistant-related libraries in the background. Android phones and watches typically update core system libraries in the background during or after the initial setup process.

There is already a mod the one for the 4 works on the 5 it's from Dante. I wanted to make sure of that also before committing to it. I also had the watch 3, now I keep reaching for the bezel on the 5 Pro that doesn't exist lol. I just picked mine up yesterday I just couldn't pass up the $190 instant credit for the watch 3.

Hmm maybe should try bixby only for the change or workouts as I only ever use other or circuit training as is a faff to keep stopping and lowering your heart rate! I don't seem to have a keyboard to reply to text though tried Googlong to see if it is a setting and nothing comes up? I just have voice or pre set replies.

does the samsung pay security settings make it so it constantly locks the watch as on the watch 4? since I have tattooed wrists the watch 4 never registered that I was wearing the watch therefore I wouldn't receive messages/calls and the samsung pay security made me currently need to put in my pin to unlock the watch. I returned the 4 and still wear my s3 frontier where it has the option to get notifications "when not wearing the watch" so I get everything at all times and samsung pay only requires a pin when I open that app specifically.

It is showing me that a message came in and from whom but not letting me see the actual message. If you download Gboard on your watch, you can set up voice to text using Google speech to text engine which is damn good if I may say so myself. I hate the small keyboard but if I'm responding to a text or Facebook message, 10/10 I'm going to use speech to text. Let me know if you need help setting it up! 🙂
