Hello, can we do programming in Kali Linux and will Kali Linux be better than Ubuntu for programming?

Why would you want to do Programming in Kali?? Sure you can set up a developer environment of your choice but.. you need to understand Kali and its competitors are meant to make Pentesting tools accessible in ONE place without having to download these tools over and over again. I say pick two things: Does it run the software you use, does it support the hardware you have? Just have fun with linux , and good luck.

I do programming on Kali at the moment because I kept having issues on Ubuntu with packages, kept getting the Grub menu after some installs. So I just went to Kali and everything has been easier for my programming courses and work

Thanks for the suggestion! However, I think I'll use Ubuntu since that's what I saw in PuTTY when running CLI commands on our test server.

Arch is not used comercially, it makes no sense to use IMO. Ubuntu or Fedora(Red Hat).

Respectfully disagree! Arch's flexibility and customization options make it a great choice for some developers. But yeah, Ubuntu and Fedora are popular choices in the industry too!
