I bought some of those rubber shoe ties and they were great... until they broke. I bought 20 yards of elastic cord (like very skinny bungee cord) for about $12 and laced my shoes and boots with that, tying them together at the top. Now all my shoes and boots slip on and stay secure with no tying. Oh, and wearing shoes without socks is not only uncivilized, but bad for your feet (moldy feet and shoes, anyone?)

I had to laugh at the soap dispenser. It's an attractive design, but who cares if we touch the top of the old-style dispenser. We're just about to wash our hands anyway, so what difference does it make? That would be a big waste of $15.
