You act like they're actually doing it for us, like they're trying to make a useful feature that people actually want. If Microsoft cared about what users wanted, they wouldn't have made Windows 8/10/11. They need to stick with one consistent, intuitive, user friendly UI (like Windows 7's) and stop trying to shove garbage down people's throats. You don't see Apple redesigning their entire UI with every OS release, do you? Take someone from 2001 who was familiar with the very first version of MacOS 10 and sit them in front of a brand new Mac with the latest version of MacOS and they'd know exactly how to use it. Try setting down someone who has only used Windows XP and before and putting them in front of Windows 8/10/11. They'd be completely lost. Microsoft doesn't even put the user folders in the Start menu anymore. Windows UI has been terrible since Windows 8.

That would be because they are losing money on every card. They dont want to sell cards on purpose. The chip is hopelessly inefficient. Both in die size and performance per watt. Think about it they are using a much larger die and more power to trade blows with the bottom end cut down Nvidia offering. A comparibly sized Nvidia chip is squeezing out roughly 80% more performance. It is a paper launch and its on purpose just to say they met their goal. By many comments and reviews, I would say its working.

@@atomic3325 This is true, but it shows that their performance gains and efficiency gains are getting much better, especially in one generation. I expect their celestial line of graphics cards to be much more cost effective for Intel as they will likely be able to cut their die size even more and increase performance, while keeping cost increases of their cards minimal if at all. Of course they are losing money on this, but not much. This is going to be a long term strategy of keeping intel graphics alive and competitive enough to where they will start to be put in laptops and other devices.
