Thanks! I recomend a Kodak slide n scan for negatives (or an older Epson scanner). For digitizing photos I can recomend a Google App for your smartphone called PhotoScan.

Yes, you can! In the lid of your Epson Perfection 1660 there is a removable plate, behind there is a lamp and holder for scanning slides and negatives.
