Being 65 and 66 , and overweight, in hospital practice with everyday CoVid-19 patients, I chose to be vaccinated, and that was the rational choice. I argued that most people below 40 had little risk, excepting the morbidly obese and badly immunocompromised people, but nobody listened to that. It was a time of great fear, which leads to coercion and power overeach by petty bureaucrats. Have had Omicron twice, and grandchildren 's colds are worse. What I think is the government 's greatest crime is not explaining the difference between Omicron and the original variants. Omicron does NOT invade the lower airways and does NOT cause pneumonia. They chose not to emphasize the serious noncritcality of Omicron to retain power.

Yes, I agree. I had delta, and it was bad, I was knocked out for 10 days. But it wasn't deadly (to me), and I believe I'm better off now having fought off the hardest hitting variant (especially if it was engineered).
