Types of Technical Writing

I am kind of new to technical writing myself. My career path started as an electromechanical drafter and part and assembly modeler. I got closely involved with the aerospace industry and transitioned to technical illustration. My next step was to transition to a technical writer in the semiconductor capital industry. I have transitioned to the telemedicine industry. I am researching career paths and how I could increase my skillset and income. Working as a technical writer today, I utilize all the skills I have gained and have become quite effective.
