The more ethanol is added, the lower the mileage you will get.

India me Octane number ethanol dal ke badate hai. To agar aap 95 ya 98 octane petrol lete hai to usme ethanol regular petrol se jyada milega. Aur BS4 gaadi ethanol vale fuel me kam mileage degi but bs6 phase 2 vali jyda degi. Agar aap jyada din gaadi nahi chalate to fuel stabilizer add kare tank me. petrol kharab nahi hoga

Sirji. 20yrs Maruti 800 me coz of ethonol mix primary butterfly stuck ho raha hai(8kmpl instead of 14kmpl city). Even after carb re service and change of top cap, needle valve n float with new MGP, still facing the problem. Intermittent flooding coz of intermittent stuck primary butterfly. Whats the best solution.. adding additive or adding 2T oil or both or alternatively both. Pl suggest Sirji..

Govt ka scam karna yaa fir pollution ko control karne k leeye E20 petrol lana aam aadmi k samajh k bahar hai as koi bhi logical approach petrol mai ethanol mixing se pollution kam karna is not possible. Dusra scam gadi ka pollution certificate har saal renew karwana jiska bhi logic mujhe samajh nahi aya. But jaa wat we can do is aapne car ka maintenance and proper driving habbit build karna. Thanks Dear, my xcent Bs4 CNG always Dropped milega after change of filter 2000km and also miss fire after 7000km. Even Hyundai service center were not able to answer but today i got to know why it happened. If possible kindly let us know CNG filter also we need to change coz service center ppl dont care about change always recomand not to change. Thanks from Pune MH

Normal dalwao wohi acha he. Ye e20 ko bas support kar sakta he. In future jab saare petrol pump e20 me switch ho jayenge tab aapko koi dikkat nhi hogi ethanil blended fuel. Mere hisab se agar normal milta he to dalwana acha rahega. Mileage bhi acha milega.

Adon p petrol additive, 1 ml per litre. 3 ya 4 baar 20 litres petrol ya full tank me daalo. Engine bahut smooth ho jaayega. Iske baad 5000km ka gap deke fir 20 litres me 20ml additive daalo. Ye repeat karo 5000 to 6000 kms.

In bs3, you can add E10 and even E20 also. But if you add them, your engine life time will degrade gradually. That means the more ethanol is added, the shorter the engine life. Say if engine life is 70 lakhs km, then adding E20 will make it lasts till 50 lakhs km running. That's the basic effects on bs4 engine. It will not immediately damage the engine. Also, any percentage of ethanol always decreases the mileage. The more ethanol is added, the lower the mileage you will get.

@@prabaljoshi5521 there are merely no such options available to reduce the issue. Even additives would not really be effective. For long term usage, best is to buy new BS6 phase2 car.

@@prabaljoshi5521 even if your engine is completely good 99 percent and you have done proper periodical maintenance, still in the long run, ultimately e20 will be used. No e12 will be available anymore.

Thanks for making such informating video.. We are getting HP turbojet diesel plus & petrol plus fuel additive easily on HP pumps. Can u please comment on this products reliability. Indian oil pump is also providing fuel additive like HP. Pls advice can we use these products because these are available more easily.. Thank you in advance.. Others comments r also welcome

More octane doesn't mean better to burn. On the contrary, the high octane fuel doesn't burn easily compared to normal fuel. Infact it has less energy liter to liter comparison.
