I didn't realize there was all that beautiful woodland all around the mining area! Very nice! Thanks for taking some video from the catwalk.

Thanks for showing this work. Above the reaires there are 2 half broken plates. They give the stones axxess to the edge of the new plates making them more voulnerable I think. I would like to change the broken plates also.

15:29 that is not work complete! That is poor work done! You should change the other 2 broken!

Pretty interesting! It was also cool seeing the overhead view from the crane.

The video is nice regarding the actual process but what about the safety of the employees? I did not see any safety lines or harnesses.

I saw what appeared to be two safety harnesses hanging from the top of the work cage but the technicians did not use them.

@@haroldsmith45302 Not only that, neither of the two workers wear PPE. They do not wear safety harnesses or other safety measures. Job insecurity is a major factor in accidents and it seems that in this iron mine a human life costs very little, not to mention if they suffer a major accident and the result is that they are completely unable to work. I worked 43 years in the oil industry, I was never involved in any accident or mishap related to safety measures, I still have all ten fingers on my hands. It only took me 10 minutes before starting my job to check my PPE and make sure everything was 100%.

in a large place like that one would think they would have access to proper power tools and safety equipment for the employees. Work smarter not harder eh.

I agree with you 100%. The liners are held in place with hex bolts since they use an Allen key to secure them. To give them a better tightening torque, they use a steel tube to extend the Allen key (cheater), something that is prohibited in heavy industry in Europe. Power tools are the best solution, whether they are air or hydraulic. I think the person editing these videos does so with good intentions, but those of us who have worked in heavy industry watch these scenes with terror because we see the small mistakes they make and repeat without improving them and we know the consequences of these mistakes.

A breath-taking lack of safety equipment for the operatives. Where are the safety harnesses?

Not completed🙄 the broken ones you never replaced are gonna accelerate the wear on the ones you just replaced 🙄

No tools at all would be just as effective than the tools they used.
