IMPORTANT UPDATES: You are now able to use your own Damascus dog tag to barter for the ancient gun oil. In the same secure buy station you acquire the serpentine camo, you are able to barter your Damascus dog tag for secure backpacks and skeleton keys. You can do this as many times as you'd like as long as you successfully exfil and continue your streak as you do not lose your Damascus dog tag from bartering Good luck on the grind!

@@Lag-Gcrop Yes, make sure it's pristine or else you will be very frustrated trying to barter. On my camo run I made 4 skeleton keys through out the grind during my damascus tag and all the other steps. I ended up using 2 full keys not including the one I bartered for the camo.

Also as of now The serpentine quest is bugged you cannot craft the bomb makers blend on ashika we’ve tried 5 times and no luck

tip: if you have a damascus dogtag on any operator (10 exfil streak) you can go to the deployable buy station at zaya, wait for the radiation gas to submerge, and you can trade it in for a pristine skeleton key. If you exfil, you keep the exfil streaks and the damascus dogtag. Any condition for the skeleton key works by the way.

Be very careful around the Zaya buy station in the bunker. I've come across solos who camp the buy station with the intent of finding the guy who has unlocked most of the serpentine challenge for them already. Its a very disgusting tactic but I highly recommend bringing in snapshot grenades when you're going inside the bunker if possible. Between this and hunt squads, DMZ's community is sadly about as toxic as any other mode in CoD.

Send everyone in your squad to that bunker before you yourself go. If anyone dies inside, checks the killcam and seems a whole squad camping inside, forget about getting the camo in that game, just exfil

Unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if population diminishes solely because of the toxicity. We're gonna have a good mode die because of the community. It's already ruining The Haunting and making people fearful of the mode. I'm matching high ping servers at peak hours.

This is by far the one camo that actually deserves the name of mastery camo. Its challenging requires actual skill and planning and overall is genuinely fun and feels so rewarding getting it

Be careful around the buy station at the Zaya Observatory bunker. I've come across squads that hardcore camp the buy station hoping to come across the person who completed the serpentine camo challenge for them. Definitely bring snapshot grenades when you go inside.

This was the funnest one ngl, I struggled on Vondel cause of the bots and as soon as I took the weapons case I had a couple teams push me, and since I was carrying a RGL 80 and shotgun cause I needed the secure backpack and I needed my shotgun for the bots, but it only took me 3 tries 😅😅

Vondel might be safest map compare other three maps since lobbies become typical less sweat in that area. Al Mazrah well you get hunted everytime by heli team

Meant to siphon money from players. It’s Q4 for them, the devs have had 4 updates since the Halloween event started. They are trying to maximize money spent with the soul harvesting operators, blueprints and all that crap.

The vondel step is hell for me. Thats where my main failures are. Both because I died before the scavenger even spawned. I'm done relying on randos to help me through this. I'm doing it solo next time But not now. Still way too mad at this game.

On the Vondel step my team and I died twice as well as killing 2 other teams on the same step. It took us 3-4 games of Vondel per premium liquor. Best of luck on your future attempts. If you end up getting stuck on this step it's better to play slower and play a few extra games on the map rather then try to rush it and end up dying.

On my eighth attempt now toxic players and over the top ai are killing me got to the bullfrogs blowtorch and got railed by 2 bounties who I reckon were cheating but not 100% sure. Still it keeps the game alive and fun doing it even if the camo is pretty dogshite 🤣

It's not difficult in terms of skill, it is very time consuming, tedious and enemy players can be unpredictable leading this grind to take a long time, especially for players who haven't played DMZ and have no upgrades or barter unlocks.
