Yes these cars(scraf) are imported from Japan for spare parts but in Pakistan some areas are non duty paid areas specialy trible areas, where the government shows great leniency in such matters in the law so the locals take advantage from such leniency and make the scrap a car and they drive that cars in some specific areas mean very less areas so they travel in such division where they live not in all province or country. And in Afghanistan such things happening there all over in country.

They do this to avoid paying import tax. By taking a working vehicle and sawing it into pieces, they get away with importing the pieces as a salvage vehicle that will be used only for parts. Then once in Pakistan, they do a half-as$ed job of brazing the pieces back together and sell it to some poor sucker who thinks they are getting a safe vehicle to drive.

What death are you speaking of. No one died, this is not a wrecked vehicle. To avoid paying import tax on the vehicles, they cut a working vehicle into pieces and ship it into the country by listing it as a salvaged vehicle to be used for parts. Then they just braze the pieces back together and sell it to some poor sucker who thinks they are getting a properly assembled, safe car. They make out like bandits, the government is not able to collect the tax to pay for public services and the people of Pakistan get to buy completely unsafe cares with no real structural strength since they we cut apart and never properly welded back together to ensure they had the correct structural strength the vehicle was designed with.

Generally in 3rd world countries import duty on cars are very high (even 200% of the value) and here it seems that the cars get imported into the Country as scrap metal which carries a miniscule duty and then they get is assembled back. This is absolutely appalling. 😢
