Hey Guys, thanks for all the support! 🙏 I hope you all enjoy the video as it took ages to put together 🔥I also wanted to quickly mention a few things: 1. This is my first drain test in 4K, enjoy! 👏 2. In the past, many of you have said this and that about screen resolutions and said that because one phone is pushing more pixels than another it affects the battery life. Well, I have been doing battery drain tests for years now and have noticed the difference is extremely minimal (if any at all) and depending on the phone, sometimes I've seen greater battery life from a phone running at it's native QHD resolution instead of having it dropped down to FHD res. Just some food for thought 😅 3. All phones are sitting at 100% battery health 🙌 4. I always keep all the brightness levels, apps and app running times EXACTLY the same so that you can compare these results to other SOT results within Battery Tests on MY channel 😃 5. ALL phones are global variants running on GLOBAL ROM 👀 6. X (Twitter) Link to wallpaper: x.com/technickbrazer/status/1787841736670118383?s=46&t=njSAbxlis0HTWCsnHSuKwg

2.) I think that's because there's a difference between pushing internal resolution and OLEDs having to light up individual pixels. Since there are more pixels to light, more battery is needed. That's what I think at least.

Finally someone who gets it! If a phone is reaching 70 degrees Celsius it’s very likely reaching 55+ degrees on tasks like gaming, camera and GPS. Anything over 50 degrees is quite literally destroying your battery, so if your phone constantly hits 50+ degrees on a daily basis, this battery is going to be cooked.

Currently I'm getting around 2 days and 6 hours use from my Magic 6 Pro with moderate use. Amazing really. It lasts more than a day with heavy heavy use. The one strange thing I've noted is that here in South Africa the networks are draining phone batteries quite quickly. On WiFi it'll go on forever but on the network it uses battery even at idle and that's even on iphones, Samsungs, Huawei's etc. I wonder why.

HONOR MAGIC 6 Pro's battery performance is extraordinary, this battery uses the latest 2nd Generation Silicon Carbon Anode battery technology. - Silicon anode offers 10 times the power density of graphite, but volume increases by up to 300% - Honor Magic 6 Pro also uses an additional chip called Power Enhanced Chip Honor E1, a HONOR Power Management System chip that significantly improves the battery experience - The second generation silicon-carbon battery also offers improvements in charging. To ensure optimal performance - Honor says Laser Guidance Microtunneling technology makes a big difference when used on silicon-based anodes. This increases the contact area between the electrolyte and the silicon-based anode, unlocking usable capacity in the low voltage range. Additionally, it helps increase battery capacity.
@superiortoall226 ай бұрын
That was actually not very good, look at the mAh/min and it’s far worse than the iPhone. To only last 30 minutes longer than a 4400mAh battery, looks like Honor skimped on the chipset optimization and just threw in a larger battery.
@SDav216 ай бұрын
@@superiortoall22The battery isn't physically larger but because of the new battery tech it is more dense so they can fit larger mah in the same size. Apples software is so basic and simple and hasn't changes in years. Apple makes their own chip with their software so it's a given it'll be more efficient.
@superiortoall226 ай бұрын
@@SDav21 regardless of size or density, mah is the capacity to provide electrical flow, so no matter which way you explain, it’s still a larger capacity battery. Remember physical hardware is still easier produce than anything software. And as an engineer that works with both Android and iOS, iOS is not 1200 mAh difference simpler. It’s just poor optimization on Honors part man, no excuses.
@SDav216 ай бұрын
@@superiortoall22 I get that. But it's mah per minute was still very good and it lasted quite a bit longer than the S24 Ultra which would be it's main Android competitor. No Android phone is as efficient as iPhone because most Android phone makers don't make their own chips and android is universal as it needs to work on multiple devices with a staggering array of configurations all with their own layers of unique software. And actually, the Honor had the best mah per minute of all the android phones here. It isn't poor optimisation. Just different optimisation. The Honor will easily outlast any Android phone on the market. Also, if you look at the last part with the numbers, he shows how long each phone would last if it had 5600mah and the Honor is still 1st among the android phones. So it has the best Android optimisation and clearly better than what you're trying to make it out to be.

@@superiortoall22 And also, if you look at the last part of the video with all the numbers, he shows how long each phone would last if they all had 5600mah batteries and the Honor would still be the best Android phone. So clearly it isn't poor optimisation as you're trying to make it out to be. It clearly has the best optimisation of all the android phones and it's dedicated power management chip is clearly working well to negate the drawbacks of Android being universal as well as the chipset being universal and all not specifically designed in-house for that particular product alone.

It's quite interesting when you look at how they perform if they had the same capacity batteries. That really gives a good indication of how efficient the phone is at using its power. Also interesting that the phones that kept their temperature under control tended to do better than those that didn't.

Cheers for watching till the end bud 😃🍻 yeah the iPhone has very good efficiency due to optimization

@@Azmodaeus49or he saw that Xiaomi hit a hand burning 67, 68 degrees temperature and the Xiaomi 14 only achieved 7.5 hours SOT which is insanely poor for a phone in 2024. Why do you mindless sheep just regurgitate the same thing when someone points out how bad a phone does?

iphone is the real winner here if all the phones are all trimmed down to 4,400 mah to match iphone's battery. iPhone's battery optimization is still unmatched, they just have to work on their charging speed though 😅

I guess the S24 ultra is the only device with 2x QHD+ display and with that the performance is commendable.

I literally got 13 hours and 32 min on my One plus 12 screen on time, crazy and i have proof of it as well, over 2 hours more than the winner here. You can not run bench marks all the time and base the score on that, it becomes more of a stress test of the battery than anything else. Make it more realistic, real life use and One Plus willl win it.
