Ugh, my tonearm lever just, like 10 minutes ago, pulled right out of the socket, which I'm guessing means that some tiny little piece of plastic inside broke. I'm glad this video is here for when I'm ready to steel my nerves and disassemble that whole bit.

Try as hard as you can to avoid taking apart. I would try to carefully, emphasis on the word carefully, push the tonearm back in to the socket. As long as it pulled out directly, you should have no issue, but if it pushed to the side and broke off of course that's a different story.

@@SegasonicfanDesigns Thank you! It is back in place. I had no desire to take my 1200 apart, I would probably have done more damage.

@@SegasonicfanDesigns what if it broke while trying to put the tone arm down?

@@emilyjennings6262 If it's just the black lever part there, you can get replacements for about $17 on eBay and other places. A bit overpriced, but do what you can to avoid having to take apart the entire tonearm assembly.

That information is readily available on the web. I try to show things that are not available elsewhere.
