Speaking of noise cancellation here on A800, you guys should try it in real life on a bus when commuting. It's a disaster! You'll hear loud clicks and cuts when environment noise gets loud and ANC is on. A800 is safe for sitting and not moving if you want the ANC.

We're sorry to hear it A bus is one of the most challenging situations for noise cancellation, for sure

Some of these comments are pasted from other reviews on these headphones. I got the eat-Az40 earbuds on July 5th of last year, and the EaH-A800 for Christmas. Good god. I have never herd headphones and earbuds sound like that.

@@GramophoneMD you know what ? I have to tell you. I got them, they're gorgeous, super comfortable but I found them to be kinda flat. I really tried to see if there were setting they needed to be on> The settings are very simple to use. I tried them on my imac and iphone and really they just don't do it. It sounds ok but for that kinda money you want them to kick ass and they don't. they just sort of stay at this mid range, Doesn't do it for me. Sent 'em back. But other people may find them to be great! I think it's all pretty subjective to personal taste in what you need hear. And I have excellent hearing, so I know that's not the problem. For me they were just eh. Thank you for your review though. It was totally worth trying them out. Thank you.

@@SheckyBeagleman Thank you for sharing your thoughts, that was an excellent description! I think if you found the Technics to be too flat for your liking then you might really enjoy the Bowers and Wilkins PX-8 or Mark Levinson No. 5909. They both have much more excitement and sparkle.

This Panasonic Technics A800 has very good sound and ANC and it's general volume and bass volume is much stronger and powerfull compared to Sony MX4 or Bose QC45. But to listen my favorite music genre electronic music and techno i prefer to use the Panasonic RB-M700B because they have somethning the A800 and other expensive head phones on the market does not have at the moment: A Bass reactor vibration system ! I really love the bass reactor vibration system very very very much !!!! It feels like you have a 2.1 subwoofer hifi system. Panasonic Technics A800, Sony MX4, Bose QC45 feels more like an 2.0 weak bass hifi system without any subwoofer. For a very very very noisy ambient or music without any bass (for example old music) the A800 is the best. So I change my headphones depending on the situation. I use public transportation and have a very noisy neighbor that is the reason I own the Technics A800 and the Bose QC45 (only to watch TV and video games but not music). For music I use my 3 pairs of Panasonic RB-M700B. I hope Panasonic will continue to offer and develop headphones with bass reactor vibration system because I can't listen to techno and electronic music on head phones without a bass reactor anymore. The sony Sony MDR-XB950N1 Extra Bass head phones from 2017 have a bass reactor vibration system (my first head phones i had with a bass vibration system) but the new Sony WHXB910NB Extra Bass from 2021 don't has a bass vibration system anymore imo.

Do they still have that echoey reverb that the EAH-F70 had?
@GramophoneMD
@GramophoneMD Жыл бұрын
Maybe still a touch but it was greatly mitigated.

Yeah, ANC gives a weird reverb, but without it the sound quality is way better, and so fantastic after a lot of burn in and playing a bit with the app eq settings.

@@Breaky717 whats burn in exactly? is it just usage?
@Breaky717
@Breaky717 Жыл бұрын
@@RooneyRen Yes, 20-30 hours usage. The best app eq settings for me, that i found, is 100 Hz -4dB, 3,15 kHz +4dB and 16kHz +5dB

9 months too late to the party but my current daily driver is a Master & Dynamic MW75. But, I am looking for a set of cans for my travel needs (decent ANC to bring down that plane engine noise and chatter around) and decent sound quality with wearing comfort. Technics seem to be interesting. Any thoughts? Comparing this to say, Bose QC45?

Hello Eddie, we're sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience, and we're a little unsure about what caused your "handshake" issues between the headphones and your Samsung phone It looks like you purchased in euros. Do you have a local repair shop that may help evaluate the two products when used together?
