Smashing, you are winning :-D you can see why i leave them alone if possible, yes i'm a chicken lol. It's a loverly tape deck, worth your effort. Head imbalance with wear and imperfections, usually high frequency response drops off. You have done so well :-D

@@felix_da_katze Yes i'm glad too, It's good to repair things :-D. I've been doing it since i was ten, i'm 55 now (Yes i'm an old git lol.) No reply required.
