Sold a few of these tables when I worked at Best Products. It's a direct descendant of the Panasonic changer of a few years earlier. Reliable changing mechanism. Some people just HAD to have a changer and we had these and a couple of garrards. Sold ONE Garrard and dozens of these in the year I worked there. This was so much smoother than the Garrard in operation. The spindle can be switched out to a single play spindle if you still have it. Nice sample of this table.

@@TexTom1981 What model was the Garrard, GT35?

@@areeko It's been nearly 45 years...I'm not going to remember that, friend. We had two different Garrards and they were both changers. That's the best I'm going to remember. No one looked at them when the Technics was on the same shelf. One big seller for the Technics was the absence of the retaining arm that pulled down on the records. Without that, the disks dropped more gently on the one below it or on the platter itself. And after your question, I did a google...The 42M is one of the two we had. I'll never forget that tonearm.

@@TexTom1981 Best Products... That's a memory! Worked there in 1988 for the Christmas season. Also bought several electronics from there over the years. 👍

I have two of these in mint condition that are slightly different. I have all the spindles with both, the short spindle for 33’s and long stacking spindle and 45 record changer. I find it fascinating that you can’t interchange the adapter spindles cause they made them different sizes.

go to the listing in ebay and find out for grins anyway. I do eBays' international shipping but i dont see what the customer pays, and eBay handles it all. so basically my box goes to an ebay hub and they do the rest.
