13:45 looks like debris in the socket. Great comment on 1980's tables - love them!

Yep. This is the table I use every day at my record store. I bought it used back in the mid eighties. I’ve never had either stacker, but I’ve never been interested. It’s on its fourth or fifth belt and cartridge, but beyond a couple spindle lines and a pot cleaning, it’s worked flawlessly for 40 years.

I would LOVE one of these. I have the single play equivalent, so this would be superb !

first love watching your vids thanks to watching your channel seeing you deal with problems and turntables you never had worked on before is amazing how you can figure it out and get them to work again cause of what you have done I got a little brave and started to work on my 1985 onkyo cp-1055f thre tone arm stopped working in 2015 was afraid to touch it for fear of breaking something this being computer control but I have gotten several turntables since then and repaired them mine were not as difficult to work on like I have seen you do plus I was lucky bit I did and found it to be a broken gear so I ordered a new one and should be in soon on the 45 stacking spindle ,you said why would anyone want to use these for 45's well one I bought a lot of 45's when in the seventies and could not afford to buy album so instead of getting up everytime a 45 finishes all you got to do is stack several onto stacker and wala you don't have to play yoyo its hard to play a 45 and stop tt to put a new one its stupid thats why someone would use this my dual 1009sk has one my garard at-60 has one my BSR 610 has one cause I have a lot of 45's this is not an angry comment just a answer to why some one would use one of these thank you JRo

I did a SL-B235 a few yeas ago. The stackers are inter changedable with SL-1950 which I also did a few years ago. I got huge money on ebay. I have a box of spare platter mats that I save from tables I junk. MCS platter mat will also work. Same part number.

Thanks for the video. I guess to play next record from the stack you need to set memo-gram either to the exact number of your records on the stack or to R which means 'repeat continuously'. These digits 0-6 represent how many times the arm will go back and start playing again. 0 = 'zero repetitions' hence why it stopped and didn't want to play your 2nd disc ;).

I had a mat like that. It was as hard as a rock. No bend or flexibility at all. Several Technics tables were this way.

I have classical music 4 LP box sets where Side 1 & side 2 are on separate vinyl, therefore either you cue two turntables or get a stacker or keep changing vinyl every side to keep the sequence

Does it have a full automatic system? When the needle completes a record it goes back too its resting spot? This is what I'm looking for, direct drive fully automatic. What year is this? 1970's??

Is this for sale? It would make a nice turntable and I would buy a new rubber platter and plastic top!
