Nice, simple explanation. Im an instructor applicant and i find things like this difficult to explain. Of course i know how to cross country plan but learning how to break things down for a student pilot is sometimes harder than learning the skill in the first place!

I guess this is why the GPS is so critical now days...:)..I know very little about advanced navigation but this seems to be a good learning video.I use my compass regularly on my boat,and never thought about windage.Now you got me thinking about currents.hmm..

2.32 "The first thing you gonna get is the true heading" No, the first thing is the true course or true track. Think that was a bit confusing. Otherwise it was helpful, thanks!

Paul Crooks you get it by looking at the performance chart for ur particular aircraft
