Ott, I owe you a great debt! Your tip of throwing a white swimming toad top water has been paying off for me since October. It saved me on many slow days since. I will keep one ready to throw from now on, at least in the fall. I had a couple toads last week even in 48-50 degree water. I feel it is a far to overlooked technique. I wish you and your family all the best this Christmas season and will continue to root for you in all you do!

Thank you Ott! I have some crank bait style wake baits I got years ago and wasn’t sure about, but when I heard you say (during pick 4) to hold the rod high and fish it slow like an injured bait fish I knew exactly how that looked. Next day off I fished it as a search bait from the bank main lake, came across an old road bed, warmer water and nailed a 4 1/2 lber. In 4 feet. Thanks again for your sincerity, it’s a big part of why I never miss a video of yours!

Love these videos I’ve def caught a lot of fish watching you fish in tournaments and just watch your techniques when to fish what bait during certain conditions and what your surrounding look like…. I also enjoy the monster bass show on outdoor channel I’ve watched every season and I’m ready for more exciting fishing

Ott, I’m a professional musician with over 100 albums to my credit. But in my not so spare time, I’m on the water here in the Northeast (Connecticut). Please please please… do a simple layout of basic lures verses conditions. Heavy wind- this lure Stained water- this lure Clear water- this lure Would just be a great quick guide as to your take- You’re the greatest man. There is nothing quite like a good top water bite! I will have to check those out, I don't have any of them, just some shorter crankbait sized wakes. Thanks again for the tips Ott!🎣

Those style work as well, just reel it as slow as you can and it still wiggles like a dazed bait fish that can’t swim down😁

Not in Wisconsin 😂😂🤣 That's maybe earlier October in northern states. Once water gets below 50 hits on any topwater including wake baits is going to be a rare occurrence.
