Oh my. EC are the kings of funny metal. Mixing them with Babymetal is the most batshit crazy idea I've heard of in a long time, and it worked perfectly. Congrats on finding this.

You should definitely check out EC with the newer songs (max 3 years). Hypa Hypa We got the moves Everytime we touch These are normal starting points. Have fun Ps: "I was not expecting a break down". YOU ARE WATCHING A EC music video! Break downs guaranteed!!!

Some older songs are not so bad. Especially the music videos like MC Thunder part 1 and Crystals. Different but not bad. Of course EC won with hiring Nico as their new clean and supporting harsh singer in 2020.

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🔥 Unusual song to start your BM journey but is better later than never. You won't see a group like them around, they're from Japan and they've been doing this since very young age, they barely finish the primary school when started this group and a couple of years later they were rocking out at live shows in front of thousands and thousands of fans, you've seen nothing yet, just remember the best way to enjoy BM is live, they got some more MV worth to watch for the first and even crazy like this one but just wait for it. Most likely they will be playing this together in a couple of hours at FOX_FEST Festival this weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia, so can't wait for the live version. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more. I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it. Meanwhile next suggestion: - Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013) See you next time.🦊🤘🔥
@jakemuller86266 ай бұрын
Here's the list of live performance clips usually safe to reacts without any filters so you won't need to rely on live compilations, there might be some exceptions: - Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! live at Legend 1997, SuMetal 16th Birthday in 2013, they got MV of this and is fun, but live is a blast. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn-pmneNf81lfKM - Akatsuki, live at Budokan 2014, this is a SuMetal solo. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWOWaGV5arV9gq8 - Megitsune, official MV is my first recommendation but is usually blocked if you don't put filters, so if you want live and safe to react, check it out Budokan 2014. kzbin.info/www/bejne/moaWaXaPoNV1rKs - Akatsuki Unfinished Version, SuMetal solo again but with only a piano behind special performance at Legend 1997. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKjWmqGjrbmrmNE - Babymetal Death, live at Legend 1997, this is the big finale, you're gonna blow your mind with this one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIPGapeYnM51hqs - Catch Me If You Can with Kami Band intro live at Budokan 2014. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJibhpKgZcyjgqs - Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, sometimes the official live MV isn't so friendly so you know what to do. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKCQkJaYm8mlj6c - Rondo Of Nightmare, with Mischiefs Of Metal Gods Intro live at Budokan 2014, another SuMetal solo but way different than usual happy songs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/boildZyCgrONmac - Doki Doki Morning, official MV, their very first song and MV full of kawaiiness, usually is safe to react so try it, if you want a live performance, this is the first proshot version with the Kami Band live at Legend 1999 (YuiMetal and MoaMetal 14th birthday). kzbin.info/www/bejne/eITNp2yFjtmKkJI - Uki Uki Midnight, this one is a follow up to Doki Doki Morning but way different sound, this is the PV, is super fun but the sound isn't so great but at least is live. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5uQhoR_odamf7M If you want better sound with the Kami Band, then live at Budokan 2014 it is. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4TdimyagZtkabM - Onedari Daisakusen, live at Legend 1997, this is a Black Babymetal song, is a subgroup with only YuiMetal and MoaMetal. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5W3YqytjrdoidE - Iine! again official MV hits way better but if you want live, here live at Budokan 2014. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6Smp4yMg8p3Ztk - Karate live at Download Festival 2016, "kitsune6001" got this with a short interview intro. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHyyfWmsaLKXaMU - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official live MV, be careful with the blocked by putting some filters just in case. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIWoioh8nLGpm7ssi=BsVOSExS25Qndy1H - Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai - Answer For Animation With You, live at Budokan 2014, not sure if it's still safe, so try some filters, if is audio blocked try to mute or just cut the parts. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2mpfKijq81grZo Here's a song you can find at Babymetal Reactor Resource (BMRR), a helpful place to get watermarked logo clips of the original live version to curve the annoying algo. - GJ! live at Wembley Arena 2016, another Black Babymetal song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpiTg6yimMxrfJI This is BMRR short vid to follow instructions and get the spreadsheet with the full list. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2WTh6CKfbibasU And here's a BM guide (the long one). kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3rFY6t7qc2Xicksi=EnEYU4nN3tuiY3WL There's a beginners guide at "Briaghh" called "So... What is BabyMetal?" is more short and with some fair update until last year unlike the other one with full updates till this year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4mYp51nYrialZYsi=icqbG22Ysw0Pc-Ll 🦊🤘

The song is musically more EC than babymetal and the video was also made by EC's Schillo Brothers. EC are the kings of partycore. They invented the genre. Metal mixed with well everything.

EC could stand for Expect Breakdowns...if you spelled Breakdowns with a C. Yeah, makes no sense but sets up my actual point in that you really do need to expect a breakdown and they do it in most of their songs and in so many ways..and this pop bridge going into a drop and breakdown is is a fairly common approach but they know how to get into it in so many different ways that you truly find yourself needing them to do it. They do play around with when the drop comes so you think it's about to but then they extend the bridge a little longer and then hit you with the drop. I love watching BabyMetal in this...don't get me wrong I love their seriousness live and understand why it was important, especially when they were younger, but it's wonderful to see them play it this way. That was one of my concerns after the announcement of the song release. I wasn't sure that they would be permitted to play it off the way you HAVE to in an EC video (except for Mindreader , Parasite, Crystals) but so thrilled that they could act it out.

Nice reaction guys. Guess you'll have fun with EC videos. If I have to tell you some videos start with "Hypa Hypa" with the knowledge it's during the pandemic, everything is really depressed and you'll see the first song of your favourite TransCore/MetalCore band and their new singer. After that "We got the moves", "Pump it", "MC Thunder 1" (former singer Sushi), "MC Thunder 2" (new singer Nico) (Dax, can/would you fix the lamp in front of you? Please.)
