National security looks at capabilities and capabilities could be technologies, either old or new but traditionally it’s a combination of both, says Anshuman Tripathi, Member, National Security Advisory Board (NSAB). Speaking to StratNews Global Editor-in-Chief Nitin A. Gokhale on ‘The Gist’, he said technology is supposed to augment human capabilities, be a force-multiplier but it has unfortunately ended up playing on the human failing that we become lazier. “As a race, we humans need to be careful that we keep our skill sets alive going forward.” Tune in for more.

Welcome to Mass Automation - began 25+ Years Ago in USA where at that time, India, Philippines, China were Booming with Outsourcing. Norway, Australia were only 2 western nations that never went into Global Financial Crisis but by 2009, Australia too had Mass Automation (Automation started 1000s of Years Ago where FULL LABOUR of Agriculture went to using Tools-Washing Machines, Tractors, Phones, etc - Part of Automation)

Heard of Self-Service Counters where Cashiers were replaced 15+ Years Ago in Many Nations? Supermarkets, Restaurants have Full Automation Too (No Humans starting from California). Heard of 4D Printing, Self Healing Tech - Already Exists in India Too for clothes, roads, etc. Rio Tinto, Many Mining Firms, Many Other Industries have for 10+ Years, replaced Human Drivers with Self Driving Large Trucks + More. USA, UAE, Singapore, Australia, Many European Nations, etc have Mass Automation for 25+ Years
