Is there a way to enter a group of questions and answers into a question bank instead of adding the question and the four possible answers individually. It would be great to do a mass entry into the question bank instead. Doing each question and answer is really time consuming. Thanks

Thank you, One question how do you open the questions back up to edit the placement of the correct question? Everything seems to be landing as the first question being correct.

You need to click the other "possible answer" options where you want the placement of the correct answer will be. I hope this helps.

I'm wondering why you published the quiz before it was actually ready? Why not completely pull the quiz together with quiz bank and custom questions first, then click on publish? In fact, I'd kind of like to build a quiz ahead of time, and wait to publish until I want the students to have access. I know you can "lock" it until a point in time, but doing that means they'll still get notifications of a published quiz, no?

When I share to commons - to use in another class, however, the questions banks don't follow the quiz, and I'm left with an empty quiz. Any way around that?

when I create a question in the bank, I'm able to select that I want it to be worth 3 points for example for multiple blanks. When I create the quiz linking from the bank, it seems to be lost that some questions have more points assigned to them. I can only select how many points each question is worth to make up the total value of the test. Is there anyway to carryover some of the questions being worth 1 point and some from the bank being worth more?

That was very informative. I created a question, it is multiply choice and I have more them then one correct answer for the question. I clicked saved, did a test run and it is tell me that it is (Partial ). I spent 2 two trying to figure out how to fix it. PLEASE HELP!!

Sheri, when you select your question type, instead of choosing "Multiple Choice," you should choose "Multiple Answers."

Why would you add so many questions to your question bank when "Canvas" may be eliminated at the whim of the administration and all of those questions would be lost? For example, Etudes.

In the past, I neglected to transfer questions from WebCT to Blackboard, because I knew my institution was only going to keep Blackboard for one year. Shame, because when we moved to Canvas, everything would have transferred by our CTL person.
