Thank you for your videos which are so clear and much better that Tom Toms. I replaced the battery on my Tom Tom 930 as I was getting a battery warning notice and also couldn't go beyond "I agree"legal notice Battery warning has gone but still can't go beyond "I agree" legal notice. I've tried a soft reset which didn't work. It starts to work and I get the Tom Tom drums then the palm tree picture then the legal notice and then just freezes on that page. It's a waste of time trying to contact Tom Tom and I wondered if you could offer any help with this please. Thank you.

No problem, you need to first download and install TomTom home application on your PC, then connect the TomTom to your computer and run the app to reinstall the firmware. Make sure that you use a good working Micro USB cable, because sometimes a defective cable prevents the GPS unit from linking to the PC

@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Thank you so much for your reply. I did that all successfully but sadly it made no difference and I still can't get past "I agree" or "Do you want to connect to PC. Yes/No. I'm beginning to wonder if the touch screen is faulty. Would you know if this is possible or if it's a common fault with the 930. Thank you for your time, much appreciated.

@@colinbermingham9688 If the touch screen doesn't respond to your touch, it is definitely a bad touch screen. However, you can easily get them for reasonable prices on eBay. Remember you don't need to buy the entire screen, you only need the digitizer AKA Touch Screen

@@colinbermingham9688 Yes it is worth a try, and if you buy it from sellers who offer free returns, you don't lose anything if the surgery was unsuccessful.

use a hairdryer to help remove the old battery , it makes it peal off the mother board much easier .

The best place to get one for a reasonable price would be eBay. However make sure to buy it from Top Rated Sellers with good ratings, so that you don't have problems.
