its not wrong with geekbench. Intel have two type of cores (4+4), performance and efficiency core. with efficiency core you will get less clock speed, their by decreasing the multicore performance. And if you are on to gaming, better to go for AMD version as they have all performance core, and intel ecore will do nothing to games.
