Its a far fetch but similar idea happened with 2021 stockholm/antwerp/paris capsules. They all looked so similar with each other that it tanked literally all 3 of them. With that same thought in mind, case hardened five sevens will get devalued as the skin is not technically sought after as much anymore since you can get the cheaper version of it.

I have a Battle Scared 948 Deagle Heat Treated and it adds cracks all over the skin that arent there on other wears. Even on a Well Worn Deag Heat Treated (I have 2 Heat Treated Gems) the cracks are not there. These cracks make this shit look sick!

I unboxed a Five-Seven Heat treated pattern 781 and according to the site you recommended it says it has a 73% blue player side which if we go by your numbers here, would actually be a blue gem. Unless I missed it I don't think you mentioned it

No, the non blue gems are going to be worth something as well, and there are many other very blue patterns that are worth more than base price that i did not count in the 5%

Nice video dude! I liked your part discussing your guess on blue gem price. Looking at cost: $10 for a heat treated deagle & 5% to pull a T1 blue gem makes the cost to pull one on average $200. If supply = demand, they should be around $200. If they are lower than that, the demand isn’t there and vice versa if price is higher. Should be exciting to watch.

Mathematically you’re right but the skins market doesn’t quite work like that. And just cos it’s 20 times rarer doesn’t mean the price will be 20 times more wen something is rarer it usually means more demand but in this case it’s more to sell than buy and the fact there will be a lot of them means it will probably be a lot lower from the sell pressure than the 20x price. If they were rarer than the 5% then the demand would push it above the price vs rarity but with how common they are it’s destined to be lower unless no one sells them. Which won’t happen cos there are so many

I said mathematically your theory is correct but real world you are wrong, honestly with the amount there are and how easy they are to get I think $60-80 is more realistic price. If they were harder to get then the price would be closer to your rarity/price theory but they are not hard to get.

In your original comment you made the underlying assumption that non-blue gems are gonna be worth $0, which is unlikely… they wont be worth much but not $0. Also, there are plenty more very blue, but not blue gem patterns that people are going to want (meaning that they would overpay for them), so the 5% cannot be taken at face value, its probably around 20% that people would overpay for. If we still assume the bad looking ones are worthless, that puts the price at around $50
