I have had this phone now for a month and honestly it keeps up with my wife's iphone 11 max pro!! It's awesome! Highly recommend getting it! And phone jack is there!! Plus battery is awesome and fast charging

Google Android one policy says 2 years of software and 3 years of security updates by default. I doubt Motorola will mind that when it's proudly showing its bare android one as a feature. After all, that seems like a main reason why other Motorola phones got custom android - they can abandon those the moment after selling.

Very helpful videos--the Edge is selling at Amazon US for $400 (just over 300GBP). At that price, would you choose it over the Pixels--whether 4a, 4a/5G, or 5? I'm looking for a phone that lasts 2-3 years, and am concerned about durability, features, and software support (still no guarantee of more than one Android update from Motorola, I think?). Would love to hear what you think.

@@dirkdiggler2695 It's still good. It got Android 11 last month which adds some nice notification and audio features. Moto did have some quality control issues with the display in some early batches. They addressed it with a software fix that works okay but makes the screen slightly less responsive.

I bought the Edge + from eBay. After the purchase I found the Edge had features the Edge + did not and the Edge + had features I didn't care for. I ended up purchasing the Edge for $500.00 at my local Best Buy. As for the Edge + I'll try see if can work with seller to return it for a refund or resell it myself on eBay or other platforms, even if I have to take a small loss.

@ÐΔz I ended up returning the Edge as well. One of the features of the Edge that was missing on the + version was face unlock, however that feature on the Edge was hit or miss. Also I was not happy with the cameras on the Edge. The Edge +, the eBay seller accepted the return and I got a full refund (I never even opened the package). Best Buy also gave a full refund as I reported a defect with the phone. I ended buying a One Plus 8 Pro upgrading from the 7 Pro that I had. Very happy with that phone.

I just bought an unlocked Edge direct from Motorola; waiting on the SIM from my chosen MVNO. I wish someone would do a report on the best available cases for the Edge, as it seems there aren't many. Yes, I know it come with a case, of sorts, but, it's no Otterbox!

I have already ordered this phone from Motorola website with $164 two years protection coverage . anyway in the U.S cost me $691 dollars the phone with two years full coverage protection included. from Amazon I ordered screen protection and nice case protection as well these scratches shouldn't be a problem .

Yes, but being an exclusive here in the US isn't helping it's cause. 12gigs of ram & 256gigs of storage, very nice. The jack, on a flagship? Now it appears to be a premium feature? Waterfall display & very good stereo speakers, nice. Now, if the 📷's can compete with the 🍎's, Sammy & the pixels, maybe a very good purchase? Very good review!

Heya, I know this video is old but I just picked up a pre owned edge, and I noticed along the top of the phone, the words Motorola edge are faintly visible at all times on the screen, especially noticeable on a white background. It looks like a water mark but I'm pretty sure it's burn in. Does anyone know if this is some sort of intentional thing that you have to disable or is the phone faulty. I imagine it's faulty but want to check

@@66naj boostmobile is a carrier that use Sprint Network. And so far so good. I don't expect it to be as good as Pixel 5, IPhone 12 or Samsung S21 but it far from the worst. 🙂

It's a great phone but the Nord is much better value with more ram and the same CPU and glass back for a lot less and for the same price the Pixel 5 provides a lot more premium materials IP rating and wireless charging plus amazing cameras and the S20 FE provides a lot more bang for your buck.
