Nokia needs to do there thing with the swappable cases like back in the day. Picture what the phone looked like underneath the case with modern phones, like before but with the option of choosing: do i want slim, rugged, waterproof, or extended battery case? I know you can do that with a regular case but with the old way the underlying framework is just plastic and if you want just a plastic housing then you can have that or metal or glass like Cinderella's slippers. Anyway love your channel. I'm don't need to buy a phone every time one is released but just happy to watch the latest blower shenanigans anyway ;) Keep up the good work.

I finally bought it cause of you! I got for approx 116£ sale converted. It's only available online, the original shop I was buying at suddenly got sold out after I added it to cart and that shop got a lot of reviews. The second shop didn't have reviews lol and only 10 people had bought it from the store. So I am praying this is not a fake one. I do not know how to spot an original vs fake Nokia 5.4 My friends discouraged me from buying this and just save up for Samsung... I dunno why I wanted to buy this so much. I only liked the Android One which in turn gave it the Bloatware free pros. I really wanted a good camera phone but I guess I'll just use this as a daily and save up for 3 more years to buy a vlogging phone or camera :) To be fair I agree with people saying compared to other brands this nokia 5.4 is OVERPRICED. However I am wanting a Non China Phone for a while after using china phone for a long time. :(

However, in the case of the Nokia 9 Pureview we know that there will be no Mark 2 model as the phone's unique camera array has been ditched for any future phone. The Company promised an update on the 9 Pureview camera app, and has reneged on that promise. Nokia appears to concentrate on releasing new models to the detriment of refining the software on existing ones.

I got mine 2 weeks ago. The battery is great. My advice is to immediately say yes to the Android 11 upgrade when prompted to or else it will keep shutting down and restarting on its own. When i upgraded to android 11 it was immediately resolved. No other apps downloaded which is good. It has a clock and calendar but no calculator. Dual sim is good. Reception is good even the microphone on phone calls. But if I use messenger or WhatsApp for videocalls the person cannot hear me loud enough on speaker phone. The camera is just ok. I keep watching on the phone while on LTE but it lasts all day.

TBF it's a solid phone. It actually runs slightly better then the 5.3. camera is a decent effort and certainly better then the 5.3. It's build is ok but doesn't matter slapped on phone Jonny. Beware though. Nokia has started to fall behind with major updates. Android 11 should have been here already. That's the point of it over themed versions from Samsung and one+. The whole point of Nokia phones software is that it requires minimal tinkering to push the update out. Obviously it's not the case this time round as traditional slow OEMs are actually faster now. But as a smartphone it's a solid budget option, or great as a 2nd phone.

@@lick3227 yes I own the 5.3. My partner has the 5.4. They are both very close but the 5.4 is the better overall phone. However the 5.3 is discounted most places now. So if you can get it cheap enough I would say that would make it the better option. Thanks.

@@lick3227 I personally had a ram issue when I very first got the phone. But that was sorted out early on with an update. I've had no issues whatsoever since. Battery is strong, and even better if you use the adaptive battery feature. Learns your usage and all that good stuff. Build is solid, no heating issues at all even when pushed with gaming. The only thing I will point out is the software sometimes has the odd stutter. Obviously it's a budget chipset so it's common on any phone like this. The only other issue I can possibly think of is the absolutely pointless macro camera. Just don't bother with it coz it's complete garbage. My experience is that it's a very solid phone with no issues and should last plenty more time. Hope that helps. Thanks.

You totally missed one important point that is 5.3 available in charcoal (black) but 5.4 is only available in blue and purple 😌😌😌😌 Another point is that 5.4 camera can be better but the resolution is 48MP which gives problem in data. I'm sure they can keep the same quality in 13MP files. Easy to edit easy to transfer.

If you can stretch to another ten pounds the Nokia 5.3 is a really good phone: 4GB ram, 64 GB memory, Snapdragon 665, decent screen, NFC, compass, and if you install GCAM and use that instead of the stock camera it takes quality photos and records in 4K. I've been using mine since September and it's impressive.

No problem. It's just old and might not work on some devices needing blutooth 5 or higher
