Been using this phone for a wee while now. I got it partly because I have a very young child and it's packed with great features. Using the time lapse to watch her zooming about in her play pen was one thing that was awesome. I also pointed it out the window during a storm and it gives awesome timelapse movies that way too. It seemed pretty expensive but it's not let me down since I got it in August. And oh yeah, it's definately a power users phone.

Really cool and advanced phone with all the tech . The fast charging with less damage to battery . The in house image processor, the 5 axis ois, big ultra wide sensor and the huge vapor chamber. All unique features that you usually don't find in other phones .oppo really wanted to make the best phone but that means it costs a ton of money 🤑

Your best review to date, not just one or two things, the whole thing was great from start to finish. I noticed your paired back the quips a little in this video and the phone deserved that. I think the X3 and x5 back camera hump doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's blended in beautifully. Alien tech from the rear and what looks like the slipperiest phone every made. Yeah, I have a phone upgrade coming up, and that and the loss of storage were real disapointments for me with this. My wife and I love travelling, animal parks etc, and I had got some brilliant quick photos with my Find X2 Pro. I'd instantly thought; great, I'll just go for Oppo's newest flagship this time around, only to find they have nerfed it in several regards. Real shame, as otherwise it sounds like a really solid phone. Many people not used to more probably won't care; but the Periscope lens on the Find x2 Pro was FANTASTIC (in fact I often think it is better than the standard lens), and I would really miss losing that functionality, so much so I may just go for the Samsung this time around.

@@SmiffyIrons exynos is worse than snapdragon but both chips are already overkill for 99.9% of the stuff you do daily. i actually got a refurbished s21 ultra for £600 on amazon (£500 for the 128gb version) and i'm literally still satisfied with the 1 year old exynos. would really recommend doing that if you want a new phone for amazing value

Yeah I had one and it wasn't great. Also wonder if the 65W wired charging (didn't have wireless charging from memory) ends up degrading the battery faster over time.

Nice review. Few things missing : 1. Did you buy it from your own money, or is this a sponsored video? 2. What's the weight of the device? 3. You didn't mention that because of the operating system, all games are capped at 60 fps. 4. There's a 360 NFC implemented in the device, you didn't mention it. 5. Same with the water resistance(?) not sure about that one actually..

Iv used every single flagship in 2022. If I had to pick a favourite it would easily be the oppo find x 5 pro. This is the best built phone. One of the best cameras. The android 13 update makes this phone even faster and smoother than my pixel 7 pro and iPhone 14 pro max. Yet it doesn't get the credit or attention that it deserves. People teams to be interested in Samsung or apple and they're really not the best devices. The only phone that I'm really interested in for 2023 is the find x6 pro. Not the s23 ultra or OnePlus 11 etc etc. I really receive people give oppo a chance.

This phone is better than s22 Ultra because it has: - A 10bit display vs 8bit on Samsung and better colour accuracy according to DisplayMate. - Higher battery charging cycle with much faster charging - Larger sensor for ultra wide camera - Separate chip for camera processing (MariSilicon) - Better cooling materials - Ceramic back that's more durable than glass. Samsung is only better with telephoto camera because of higher optical zoom cameras.

Those Samsung telephoto cameras are super handy though if you like taking pictures when out and about. I have owned the S21 ultra for about a year and I think I use the 3x and 10x cameras more often than the main one, it just opens up so much more potential for great photos that I don't think I could give them up.

I have the find x3 pro after having a find x2 pro. X3 has android 12/coloros 12. I don't think the x3 pro is appreciably much better than the x2 pro tbh. For me, the camera on the x2 pro was better.

If Darth Vader used a phone this would be it! Fantastic camera, great battery, super nippy, gorgeous narrow & tall design means it feels a lot smaller than it is. It IS slippery and feels heavy initially coming from a small S10 but 2 days in and it feels at home in my hand. Telephoto lens? Yeah I guess that matters IF you're a bird watcher? 👀
