Audiocast M5 WiFi Audio Streamer

I just bought these in hopes that I can add some speakers to my existing Airplay 2 network. The devices show up in my Airplay list, but I can either play them or my airplay network. Not both. They won't merge into my system with my other Airplay speakers. Is there a workaround for this?

It doesn’t, you will have to Bluetooth it to the device and use your phone as a player. Apple Music is very doesn’t work with many non-Apple products so I just pay for Spotify it works with everything

Not that I’m aware of. It’s pretty locked down that’s why I just pay for Spotify, it works on everything

I noticed a "+ Add More Services" option at the bottom of the list of sources. Any chance it'll work with Amazon Music? Also, do these Audiocast devices show up in Spotify as devices that you can cast to directly from within the Spotify app? Or how about in other casting apps, like Airfoil for Windows or AirAudio for Android?

I am trying wanting to use this for Amazon Music too. I have bought 2 other devices that worked great because they used Bluetooth but they said they could reach up to 70' but could only reach about 30' and I needed to be 50'. I sent both of these devices back to Amazon and I bought this Audiocast since it is WiFi and I just hooked it up and it worked great with Pandora and iHeart Radio, but I use Amazon Music 90% of the time. I was wondering about using DNLA on the Audiocast because there are DNLA apps available on the iphone.

The WPS button was not doing anyting on my device. I had to use my WLAN-password in the app. I am pretty sure someone in China has it now in its list.

I would like to connect the Audiocast to my stereo receiver so that I just have to turn on my receiver and Spotify (say) will play through the receiver. Will the Audiocast keep playing forever after it is set up and playing Spotify? My Chromecast quits playing if left overnight.

Don't waste your money. They're are incredibly difficulty to set up, the instructions are virtually useless, the equalizer is a joke. I asked a question to find out if it satisfied my requirements but no support was given and I finally found it doesn't do what I wanted so was a waste of money.
