tech steeve it is compatible in ps5?
@abhimanyudayal12594 жыл бұрын
@@Gowardh its bad for both the rooms. In dark room, edge lite cheap display models such as U series have light bleeding and severe grey uniformity issues while in light room the TV has bad reflection handling and lower peak brightness which makes the image looks extremely dull.
@abhimanyudayal12594 жыл бұрын
@neo No this TV - only supports HDR in name but not wide colour gamut which necessary for wide range of colour for gaming in HDR in PS5. Moreover, this TV neither has 120 hz refresh panel nor hdmi 2.1 support. The only okay thing about this TV is low input lag and lower latancy in game mode but its such a shame that games in game mode looks completely washed out. So in short, this is not a perfect TV for next gen gaming.

In the UK the TU7000 comes in black. Slight lag in the menus, other than that it's perfect. One thing people don't mention Is how fast it reads which input you have and auto names it, aswell as when youre on that input, if the device is off it will power it on for you, amazing. Also its the go to for gamers as It features sub 10 second input lag at around 9.2-9-4 MS. Picture mode is perfect out the box unlike alot of other brands. Picture quality is superb and 4K looks stunning, blacks are true black and in my model there was basically zero light bleed. HDR content is decent but at a peak brightness of 250 nits it's not ideal but still great. Like you said the TU8000 has some extra features but in the UK it's much more expensive so I would recommend the Tu7000.

I'd also recommend this model as a monitor for a PC/Mac too, I sit roughly 20" from mine and find it very crisp and clear, and the model here in Australia has 2 x 20W speakers, such a huge difference when listening to music or just watching some TV. A great review.
@deanmeixner4 жыл бұрын
@Rob M I've been using iMacs with 5K screens for the last 10 years, and I knew this would be a little lower resolution, but to be perfectly honest, sure the text isn't as crisp as on 5K display, but my TV is a good 20" from me and it looks almost as good. As far as upscaling goes, it depends on what you're watching and if your games support 4K. Most important thing is when you connect a PC to it, make sure that you set the input to "Input Signal Plus" and set it as "PC" and you'll get 60hz at 4K. I've also found setting the display to "Dynamic" gives better colours than just leaving it on "normal". After all is said and done, I'm more than impressed with the TU8000, and with the 20w speakers, it makes a huge difference. I currently have the 43", I'm seriously considering going up to a 55" Samsung QLED in the next few months. It will be a super upgrade to your system. Hope this helps. Ask any other questions. Cheers, Dean - Make sure you get a HDMI 2.0 cable, most important thing.
@dancerehab10924 жыл бұрын
Hey @Dean, any idea how this compares to the hisense a71f, TCL p8s or LG um7300, for someone who wants to use it as a monitor as well(video editing)?
@deanmeixner4 жыл бұрын
@@dancerehab1092 I haven't used a Hisense or TCL ... but have used a 2020 LG UN7300, the Samsung wins hands down, it's a little easier to set up as a monitor ... on the LG, you have to go to the "home screen", and set your TV as a PC in the HDMI options, something that should be in the normal "settings", if you don't, you won't get 4.4.4. chroma and fonts will look really nasty as well as really bad lag on your mouse and keyboard.

Hi Steve TU8000 or Q60t. ? Please let me know. Which one is the best for gaming and movies. Thanks
@samerhatrom36344 жыл бұрын
I am a guy who wants to buy a tv mostly for gaming is the tu8000 better than ru7100 in that aspect especially if it has game motion plus feature as you mentioned and if this feature is on is it gonna affect the imput lag?

Is it better in a light room I had to give back my nu6900 because in a bright room it looks to dark is that better on the 8000
@dianecelento49744 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. I believe the 8000 is the same if I remember correctly. At leaste compared to the 7000. I'm not sure about the 6900 though. Didn't see that one under yelp

I’m getting this exact brand name same size tv tomorrow. It’s ridiculous how you can’t find a 43 inch HDMI 2.1 tv affordable for the PS5.

I’m a newbie, and seeking knowledge on my 8000, 43” to be watched in bedrm. This is an upgrade from my Vizio 37”. Thank you so much; I really enjoyed your informative vid.

This TV has all kinds of problems. Dead pixels as well as pixels freezing in a certain color like red and then not going away, backlight bleeding all around the edges, very slow menu which at times freezes. I bought this TV from best buy twice and both times the TV had a problem. The first time I bought it it had horrible backlight bleeding. So I exchanged it for another one and the second one I had pixels that were frozen red all over the bottom half of the screen. I would recommend saving up a few more dollars and instead getting the QLED Q60T, QN43Q60T. That's what I have now and it's great.

Thanks for sharing this. I got this device 2 days ago. I got the 65 inch. It was a big switch from LG. Unfortunately I am regretful because of the below. 1. The color in lg is richer and close more reality 2. The Samsung 8000 series support internet speed max 25 mgb! I tried to connect the Ethernet but also it remains the same. While my home internet speed is 100mgb The previous LG was smart 4K UHD. I changed bcz it was a bit old 2017 model and doesn’t support Airplay 2 I would be happy if you can share anything regarding the internet speed thing in Samsung Tv

I’m sitting here with a smart hub remote and i hate this interface so much i never wanted a Samsung again. So glad to see they use a better software. I bought a 400 dollar 1080 p tv when 4 k was out but had no knowledge of it until now. I’ll never make that mistake again lol

I just bought one yesterday. I wish my iPhone or any sort of equipment I have could do it justice. The 85” tu8000- that is. It’s beautiful. Was shooting for a QLED- wanted to stay in the Samsung family, but this won in terms of size and price. 👍

I have a very simple question but no answer. On the Samsung Tu8000, how can I rearrange the apps section do that I don’t have to scroll to the end to get to my app that I want to watch? Thanks in advance. I just found you. Very helpful. I have subscribed.
I bought this Tv..upon watching ur reviews man..keep it up..

Bought the 65" a week ago and I have 0 regrets at $800 including tax. If I could say anything about the whole package I would say the remote could be better and and controlling it in general could be better. That could just be me because when I learn new technologies they become extinct and I have to start over like a newbie...drives me nuts.

I bought a 75” lg nanocell 8500 series and I think I’m going to take it back. I do not like the edge lit display. I had an older 3D Samsung 8000 series. Is the picture on the new 8000 as good as the older ones?

This TV is almost perfect to put in my bedroom, except for that lack of 120 Hz, but i couldn't find any other option where i live in. i'll mostly play PC/Switch games and watch movies 😊
@TechSteve4 жыл бұрын
You will have to go to the Q70t to get native 120Hz and it pricey
