I have Huawei Freebuds Pro 3, by far the best earbuds for voice calls ( only one that you can use going 130 km/h on highway and have a regular call - not even apple is close)..

Airpods and Airpods pro are so over rated, they have terrible mics for calls. These out of all I've tested so far are the best allrounder earbuds if I factor in features, call quality, ANC, factory tune and sound reproduction. I'm super impressed, the downside, pricey and that L2HC codec is hard on the battery.

I've tried many IEM earphones and external DAC, I'm an audiophile for at least 7 years now, I'm still blown away by the sound technicalities, quality of my Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 + that good tuning of Devialet that's fun yet energetic tuning couple with good drivers is a sweet spot. So I'm having high hopes with this 4th generation Freebuds Pro 👌🏻.

@@siulstory First of all they have some of the best ANC available. The sound is more detailed,crispier and they've got a wider soundstage. Paired with an enhanced bass, your music will just sound more vivid. It's a BIG upgrade to the first generation.

Great review! I’d appreciate it if you could clarify a couple of things: 1. Does it have a Speak-to-Chat feature that pauses music and activates transparency mode when you speak? 2. What Huawei-specific features are unavailable on non-Huawei devices?

Hi, So 1. Don't think it has that. Only the wear sensor if you take them out it will pause. 2. Testing with my S24 Ultra it seems you need the AI life app for the features like Special Audio and high bitrate mode. If you use an Apple then you wont have those features.

I think the NC of Bose QC Ultra is still slightly better. But the Freebuds Pro 4 is comparable with AirPods Pro... NC and sound quality. For specific music (instrumental), I think Huawei is better. For vocals, both Freebuds and AirPods Pro are about the same. In my opinion.

Glad you asked, so I used them with my S24 Ultra as my second paired device and they sound amazing still. You don't need a Huawei phone to get great sound.

AI Life app is required to turn it on. S24 without the Ai Life app not working. You don't need a Huawei phone it.

Oh defiantly these I think. I had the previous XM4 model and unless something changed massively these for me are better. If I can get the wf-1000xm5 I would compare them.

Yes there is a mode for that to bring in ambient sound. But it only boosts it a little not hearing aid levels which would be much higher.

Yes. And especially with the foam tips on and not the silicone ones. ANC on these is very good if you set it to the max, tested in training doing 290+ km/h and an Airbus A380-800. For those types of transport noise they are really good. But still can't block out screaming babies on 8 hour flights 100% unfortunately! :D

Another pro by the way is that the transmitter case also allows you to use the mics at the same time but no custom eq (con). U also get high res playback via the case 👍

I have pro 3, and the sound quality is wow very good in all area of sound. Can’t wait pro 4 is sold in Indonesia starting from January 2025… I believe pro 4 will be much more better than pro3, but dont know it will be better than airpods gen 4, sennheiser momentum tws4 and sony xm5. Curious when sony xm6 and sennheiser momentum tws5 will be launched

Just got my Huawei Freebuds Pro 4. Audio quality is amazing, almost similar sound signature as AirPods Pro. I think the Freebuds Pro 4 is a strong competitor of the AirPods Pro, and it's cheaper. I pair it with iPhone by the way. I believe it is even better if paired with Huawei phones

@ good but not the best. Probably the tuning is different as it cancelled out higher pitches but lower pitches drones cancelling, Bose QC Ultra is better. Or maybe it is better paired with Huawei phones as I’m using iPhone.

I've had the Freebuds Pro 3 and they are in my opinion the best earbuds checking all the boxes. (the freebuds pro 2 were also almost perfect) I got a refund for them because of battery issues but I ended up getting the PixelBuds Pro 2 since I want something more future proof. I think they have not improved a lot with the Freebuds Pro 4 and the black and gold design is also not my thing. But thanks for the video.

I have had Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones for a year and in my opinion they are very poor. For example, the function that recognizes that you are talking and pauses the music - when I speak for the first time the music stops, then someone answers me and then I speak to this person again and the music starts again, the sound quality in these headphones is ok but the software is not so good. In addition, many people cannot hear me when I talk on the phone with these headphones while driving slowly
