I can only recommend to look at a laptop with a grey/silver keyboard with light markings in real life. I have one laptop with a similar colored keyboard and it does not work at all for me. Never ever again. Without the backlight it is nearly useless and it has a quite short turn off time so it is not fun and turning on/off all the time. Usually I don't use backlight at all on a "normal" keyboard. Thanks for mentioning this in the review.

I'm just not a big fan of the silver key caps in general it makes it harder to see the keys. That's why I would opt for the grey/black version.

Isn't the screen a 16:10 aspect ratio ? And in the video alone I see a LOT of graininess coming of the OLED panel!! Is it like graniness on the yoga 9i 2.8k 90hz oled screen ? As there it is the touch screen matrix which causes the graininess!!! And that is very annoying on white, grey and light blue windows/objects :(

I've been looking hard at the previous model and while I can see various improvements here (CPU, DDR5 and Dolby Atmos) it looks like the silver colouring does not help with the visibility of the keys and especially the NumberPad! You really don't see it as bad as it looked in my video. For some reason it looks bad there. Only with certain lights on the screen and at a certain angle. I don't find it a deal breaker and if you look for it you'll see it and any touchscreen has it.

@Techtablets Жыл бұрын
I haven't removed any comments must have been KZbin comment filtering? I've used my LG CX for 2 years as a monitor and use it 9 hours a day no burn in yet. Pixel shifting and hiding the taskbar helps.
@Techtablets Жыл бұрын
Very strange I don't see it in held comments.
@DSS553 Жыл бұрын
@@Techtablets Pixel shift helped for a while on mine, but only a little. I think there's a big difference between using an OLED as a TV and as a monitor. Monitors have a plethora of static elements that you can't always get rid of, on top of that you often have white screen with text, which kills OLED screens. My LG OLED lasted 6 months before i saw the first signs of burn in. The same with Linus from LTT, and Wendell from Level1Techs also got burn in on his CX after 6 months. Some see it, some don't, but using an OLED as a monitor is asking for it.
@Techtablets Жыл бұрын
I'm sure I'm asking for it. I have also my screen saver set for blank after 1 minute. This is a must and why I still have no burn in. Yes I just checked it again for any signs around the Windows menu. But I auto hide menu.
