Hey Sal, do you think Samsung could enable the power-off Find My Device feature through a firmware update, or is it more of a hardware limitation?
@TechTalkTV4 күн бұрын
Find My Device is primarily a software feature, but it heavily relies on specific hardware capabilities, particularly on newer Pixel devices which allow for locating a phone even when it's powered off due to specialized hardware that keeps Bluetooth active even with a dead battery; therefore, it can be considered a feature that leverages both software and hardware aspects depending on the device and its capabilities.

Yes, the s25 ultra is actually the s24 ultra with an upgraded processor and is slowly being made to look identical to all other Samsung, Apple, and Google devices. All devices are being made to look like the iPhone 11! My guess is that Samsung Apple and Google have either hired Chinese agents in their innovation and design departments, and they are purposely making bad decisions or they have hired unqualified people responsible for innovation and design. It is absolutely insane that the Samsung s24 ultra + ( aka s25 ultra) uses old battery tech, old camera sensors rediculous 10mp 3x and 12mp 5x, old 50mp ultrawide, old 200mp main sensor, insultingly slow charging speeds, old display technology covered with an anti-reflective coating that fails in less than a year from basic use of touching the screen making the device absolutely worthless on the resale market and on top of that Samsung is arrogant enough to to raise the price 200$ higher!! Lets not forget the one giant manipulation that the west simply fell for, these companies suddenly stopped providing charging bricks with the blatant lie about the "carbon footprint" The truth is they wanted one more way to increase profits even higher!! Unfortunately, Western consumers have been indoctrinated into believing humans somehow have the ability to affect the weather of a planet by not getting a charging brick in their new phone. The only way you have used your s24 Ultra and have not had the anti-reflective coating fail is if you've ran a screen protector because I take my meticulous care of my devices and anti-reflective coating has failed to the point when light hits the screen when the screen is off it looks absolutely horrible and this is not just me having this issue. Samsung had the gall to claim it was normal wear and tear!! It's time we are all honest about what's going on in the tech Market 4 Western consumers because promoting these products when they are obviously taking heavy advantage of the West is not doing anything but rewarding better behavior!

The opposite is the case. Because the new and old OS versions are installed on separate partitions you can easily roll back to the old version if something goes wrong. Dude, if they keep amping up the brightness we are gonna go blind. I think brightness is good enough at this point. And yes, I know you can adjust the brightness, but an old 50% brightness on an older device for example, will probably now look like an 80% brightness on the new one if that makes sense. I cannot describe what I am thinking
@thedoctor08924 күн бұрын
To be fair, you're not meant to use that brightness in a lowlight setting. You should only be using that high level of brightness in an area with levels of high luminosity i.e in direct sunlight. Anti reflective + high brightness allows you use your phone comfortably outdoors
@gavinderulo123 күн бұрын
Your comment makes no sense. What you meant to say is: setting your brightness to 80% on an old phone will look like the 50% setting on a new phone. But even that is probably not true since our senses perceive things on a logarithmic scale. So going from 1000 nits to 2000 nits does not look twice as bright but rather 20% brighter (this is just a very rough estimate).
@thedoctor08923 күн бұрын

The point is that devices are getting brighter and it is not just Samsung. Other phones don't have that anti reflective screen and so they will be brighter and more damaging to the eyes. And honestly that anti reflective probably isn't going to stop it all anyway especially if Samsung keeps increasing the brightness every year anyway. Idk, we will just see how maybe people will lose their sight sooner than they should in this life
