It's a legendary mobile gpu that I lived with through the year and it still rocks to this day. But still we have to get upgrade some time later and this budget friendly gaming laptop is good if you don't want to spend too much money in it

i had a big dilemma between this exact model and Legion 5 5600h cpu 1650 gtx model 1 year back.. when I heard legion offers better thermal cooling i compromised on the GPU performance and went for the legion 5 as i faced lot of thermal issues in my previous dell laptop so didnt want to take another chance.. after seeing your gameplay just after 4 months I'm satisfied I bought the legion as I have used it quite a lot for 10 months, and even in the most dire of situations it barely crosses 85 degree after hours of gaming.. most times its 75-80! but i have a 1650 so compromise on the performance compared to a nitro 3050! They are a great price for what you get, I had an 8th gen i5 with a gtx 1650 ti nitro 5 an15.. now ordered the 11th gen i5 with the 3050gtx card. Very keen to see the performance difference. In between this I had a gf63 msi which I also found an extraordinary laptop for its price range with a great battery life

acer nitro 5 2021(rtx3060,ryzen 7) is are good budget gaming laptop. I lowered the processor performance and played games in medium settings with 30fps, the cpu and gpu temps is just around 46% to 50%. Remember ! heat always the main enemy of all laptop, so sacrifice the fps ;)

The sound doesn't bother me infact I love the jet like noise while working. I wrapped my Nitro 5 with vinyl for the fingerprint magnet. You shouldn't play games on battery , always plug in.

@@grim9879 on battery your GPU will get very low TGP. If its rated for 75W then on battery you will only get like 15 to 20W. So you should always plug-in while playing games.

Woah man the best! I have the same laptop but 2022 model. So cool you are pushing it to the limit, I'm kind of scared to even play gta V "high" settings not the "ultra" because of the heat. On my nitro sense even if I'm just simply surfing the web my CPU goes to 65 Celsius ! I'm planning to buy a cooling pad because of the heat.

To drop temps on nitro, undervolt your GPU and CPU. If you're undervolting greyed out in throttlestop I can tell you how to unlock it brother. Undervolting makes a big difference on 11400h

have an acer nitro 5 ryzen 7 5800h with a rtx 3080 and while the cpu hits 80 degrees the gpu even under full load sits around 65 with auto fan setting and they aren´t even spinning at max speed or even close to that. Actually quite happy with it´s cooling solution. Temps and noise level are better then on my cheap ryzen 7 5800h rtx 3050non ti hp pavillion 2nd laptop. As that one runs hotter and louder.

I heard of people complaining about their laptops hitting thermal limit easily while the fan speed is already trying to make the laptop lift off. I´d say a change of thermal paste would do wonders for them or the thermal solution installed is just crap.

About Nitro 5 good for long run... Mine was model 2020 (RX 2060) and died suddenly while surfing 1 month after 2 yrs warranty expired! Cannot be repaired - short circuit is somewhere on the motherboard they said. So.. good luck with Acer!

I would recommend never buying a gaming laptop. Assembling a real thing with your own parts is better in the long term. Gaming laps are prone to overheating and batteries on those things are basically useless. To actually have good performance you gotta basically keep it on charge all the time.

Bro I have same specs as yours but my model is Hp victus with rtx 3050ti and i5 11400H which comes with 8GB RAM. When I use to play GTA V my temperature remains in 90 degree Celsius. But after some time I installed another 8 gb RAM of G.skill now total 16GB , but now my CPU temperature stays between 70-75 degree Celsius range. Maybe adding another RAM stick has reduced the load from CPU and also 8GB RAM is a bottleneck for this configuration as far as I have experienced it. I would recommend add another 8GB RAM for better thermals and Performance. And I have not undervolted my CPU.
