Why not just put it in a part washer or in purple power degreaser and clean. I hope you ask people if it’s ok that you paint their stuff first 😂

This case was washed in parts washer. These cases were never thoroughly painted new. They all look like Dana splashed them with a bucket of paint. After it was degreased. I wire brushed it to remove any surface rust and rest of paint. This would allow me to lay down a smooth and consistent finish. Thank you for your questions and concerns. -Christian

Also, I would rather my engine parts be put on a rubber mat so all the perfectly smooth areas the gaskets go on don’t get all nicked up in the corners. I pulled my heads off for a valve job and this moron was flipping them like this on a cement floor. I don’t let other people touch my car classic car anymore and do my own work.

@@jayandrusiak i assemble everything on cardboard taped on bench. This was just prepping parts for paint.
