I recommend that in the Call of Duty game you set the vram usage limit to 80 because if you set it to 90 you normally get those stutters

Thanks for the vid, I'm trying to hang out for the new laptop CPU's, this one is plan B. In the future it would be good to see settings in the middle. Targeting at least 120+ in fast paced shooters, 60+ in slower paced shiny looking games. I normally go for high settings with RT all on and DLSS if I can keep a reasonable & smooth frame rate. Stutter does not win games. Screen capture would also be good even if we dropped a few fames. Saves the camera going out of focus, easier to see what's going on.

how are your gpu temps so low? I am in Belgium, using a fan and keeping windows open and cyberpunk runs at about 80 degrees Celsius on turbo mode. I can only play the game on silent mode because of this. did you tweak certain software or settings? should i invest in an external cooling pad? thanks a ton in advance. it is a g16, barely a month old.

How did you manage to get 140w? I play Diablo 4 and I have the same notebook. But the temperature rarely exceeds 50⁰c on the RTX 4060 and it is very difficult to use all the firepower.

I have got the same laptop with 2k screen. My laptop stutters on games sometimes as yours. I do not understand what is the problem. I undervolt cpu and gpu to get stable performance and I fixed the problem a little but still have the issue. The average fps is amazing, but 1% low decrease to 30 sometimes which is very annoying. I have the latest nvidia graphics update. I searched on internet and some people advice to downgrade the driver to 537. Do you have alternative solution?

hello there, my cpu frequency starts with 4400 4500 and goes to 2600 2500 sometimes 3600 3500. So it gives bad performance when in gaming. Why it's happening? I have a problem with that laptop when i play at 1080p it's very blurry especially with dlss where it give me major blur in all the games the laptop is 16 inch so it should look nice however if i want to fix that i need to use dldsr at 2k but at the cost of performance.

In his description he states 32gb so im guessing he upgraded the ram because the one on his link (and others I found) all come with 16gb (Im guessing the 16gb is a single stick but if you are planning to upgrade the ram (Like I will if I buy) better to buy 2 of the same. G.Skill usually has decent deals on 16x2 GB dual channel sticks

You would have dodged a bullet if you got the 2023 model. The 2024 model having the 14th gen intel processor would make the laptop unstable and constantly crashing when playing games. I have the 2024 model with the i9-14900HX and games frequently crash with it. In fact, the laptop itself often with simple browsing as well. You'll get a lot of non-page or Watchdog timeout BSODs. I've been doing a lot of testing on what was causing the laptop to BSOD a lot, and it all seems to boil down to the instability of the processor. Intel messed up big time and it's unfortunate that this laptop has that failure of a CPU. If the laptop had a more stable cpu, it would have literally been one of the best gaming laptops.

I’m not quite sure if every g16 is the same, but you should try and search if the screen panel is IPS and has a anti reflective layer on it (which the g16 probably does already).
