I am thinking of one of their systems on my home, but I want to have a stand alone ability when the grid goes down. The quote does not include any facility of an installed EPS. It is easily done using Givenergy components but Octopus refuse to do it and will also not use the All in One unit neither will they consider micro invertors for system reliability . It has become a take it or leave it , the customer knows nothing system. I am waiting the final proposal before deciding to go ahead with the installation, but it looks like it might be a no go.

Octopus are without doubt the most inefficient energy company bar none. So bearing in mind the whole sector is useless that is some special talent. This CEO champions himself as a man of the people yet fails to do anything that he tries to claim for his customers.
