I think bro it's needed recently I am working on project related to plant disease on ideapad slim 5 with ryzen 7 5700u and with integrated graphic the dataset have 75000 images of image in running epochs it take alot of time and after few days of working on this minor project my laptop processor burned and now laptop is dead and it's not repairable service center says to change the motherboard which cost 23000rs after taking it to service center and many other local shop I didn't get any other option to change motherboard and it is not cost effective to change or replace motherboard for 3 year old laptop so now I buyer a loq i5 12450hx with rtx 3050 it handle these kind of project like butter and for 75000 images it will run all the epoch in 10 min which my old laptop take 2 to 3 hours

You don't need i5 12gen or raizen 5 7000 for ML and DL. I do those things on my hp 250 g7 which has 4 GB of ram, i3 7th gen CPU, and a hard disk. Only recently I upgraded my ram to 8 GB. Even for ML and DL, you can just consider a 30k to 40k laptops.

this video is very misleading! the not everyone needs a H series processor because not every student wants fastest processor as they use a lot of energy which leads to lower battery life = low portability and even intel's 11th generation/amd 5th gen. is quite good just make sure to see the processor series ("U" stands for Ultra-Low Power, prioritizing energy efficiency and extended battery life. - "P" represents a Balance of Performance, suitable for most everyday tasks. - "H" denotes High Performance)

Kuch bhi? When I was a college student, I got a i3 10th gen laptop with 8gb ddr4 ram. I learned C/C++, Python (both AI/Ml and Analysis, using dashboards in PowerBI). I also completed Java with all DSA concepts and parcipated in competitive coding challenges. I also learned about full stack web dev,. Everything went smoothly, these were industry level projects (big data analysis). You can also use AWS cloud services, like EC2 instance like I did and S3 for storing and retrieving large datasets. Am also currently working as a SE (PADA) in Accenture and previously was a Java full stack web dev, which means my i3 10th gen handled all the API tests like it was nothing. Even the load distribution was smooth. Selenium for automation testing also runs fine. If you are buying a laptop like this, please have your use case in your mind.

@@sauravsarkar1094 there's nothing called as best laptop, it depends on your budget and use case. but i suggest you to buy a laptop that has i5 10th gen (more than i5 8th gen that's the minimum). discrete graphics card is only required when you want to game or do graphically intensive tasks, else you can play games like valorant, gta5 on high settings with playable fps through your integrated graphics i.e. is uhd 620. good luck!

To everyone saying he's just talking about gamers not students. Look It depends on ur course and ur Work if u r from Business background (BBA/MBA) then go for Thin and Light (U or P series), but if u r a Btech student and u r doing Web development then u need a good CPU (atleast i5 12th gen H series) and atleast Iris Xe integrated GPU coz now a days the level of Coding is very high so its necessary. If u r doing Data Science and Especially Machine Learning u need a strong "NVIDIA GPU" I'm sorry but u can't do much on Integrated coz here its all about Collecting Big Datasets, Rendering, Training Complex Models and doing Complex Calculations, so dedicated GPU is necessary, same goes to Cybersecurity u need both strong CPU and dedicated GPU Don't buy MacBook if ur main priority is DS-ML/DL and Cybersecurity
