the 13 pro was probably the best iphone I've used, SOLELY because of its amazing battery life. Coming from samsung, I was already accustomed to good battery life on the earlier models S8 through to S10 plus. I had an Iphone 8, SE2nd, and 12pro, and I was just about ready to jump back to Samsung when the 13 came out. I kept it till the 15 dropped, and decided, for the USB-C, I'd upgrade. Underwhelming imo. So, here I am, about to board the next flight back to the capital city of Android, Samsung.

Sure, like PS5 games on the phone, of wait Android only able to emulate PS3 and some PS4 games, the PS5 will come to Android when the PS7 released.. so they just focusing on different areas, but i suggest you to check the Nokia N9 from 2011, and check how shamlesly copied Android that Always on Display 5-6 years later with ZERO change, and marketiged as they invented it.. (yes even the Lumia 800 what was the first Windows Phone from Nokia and was the same as N9 had Amoled display in 2011, to allow the AoD to work.. and tons of other features was stealed from that phone as their invention.. so before you think that it's better, they just stealed it faster.. and they pnly need to steal from the others, when they doesn't have enough self ideas..)

Does the 16 Pro Max, the subject of this video, worth upgrading from a ~15 Pro? Just traded my iPhone 15 pro max fir the s24 ultra. I love the android ecosystem and flexibility. Love the s pen and battery most. I enjoy new icon packs, themes and I'm currently looking for a launcher. But, while at the beach I definitely noticed how much I miss the cameras on my 15 pro max. I miss the tap to focus on portrait after the Pic is taken. I miss tapping to focus on video lost recording. I miss the smooth as silk transition between lenses. But I don't miss my device over heating to the point I had to remove the phone case. Ahhh the trade offs. But I'm sticking with the ultra and I suppose I'll watch more videos on it.

Some of those issues are likely software which could be improved with time and also I don't think you can do the same the same way on android and apple so maybe make some research on how to achieve some of those things you want

Great video and agree 100%. I use Samsung phones since Galaxy S2. It just upsets me a little this constant and incessant focus on Galaxy Ultra when we know it is ABSOLUTELY crazy expensive. Galaxy is way more than that! In countries like Brazil, where I came from, Samsung is the company that democratized smartphones, bringing this world for every class level and giving the opportunity for everyone to feel included. It is almost like having a conversation about cars and talking only about Ferrari and Porsches.

I'm still rocking my S22u and it's plenty good enough for me. I have a samsung tv and tab s9 ultra so all in there. The interconnection is great with the bonus I can plug the phone and tablet into any laptop or desktop and easily transfer stuff both ways. I might get the s25u when it comes out but not in a rush any more. I'm not sure if that's because I'm getting older or just the generational improvements aren't what they used to be.

Things you missed! Ecosystem:1. Ability to zoom in or out on the smartwatch; 2. Display your [Google] Photos on Google Assistant displays . I have 2, one in the lounge, one in the bedroom, each displaying my photos. Apple Home Kit doesn't offer a display. Phone: 3. On my friends iPhone, it he sets the front camera delay to [say] 5 seconds, then that delay also applies to the rear cameras! I have my selfie camera set to 2 seconds, but no delay on the main cameras. 4. The old chestnut about charging time information when charging. 5. You can if you want have the old 3x4 keyboard with T9 . Remember? I can toggle between either. 6. You could have mentioned the interpreter, instant translate and text translate [can be used even on existing WhatsApp messages]. As I understand it no translation features are coming to Apple Intelligence. 7. Ditto circle to search - unless apple pleads with Google !

Dude, excellent video. The fact is, the S24 Ultra is just a better phone. That does NOT mean it will be better for everyone. If someone is deep in the Apple ecosystem, they should get an iPhone 16 Pro Max, in my opinion. Stick with your ecosystem or move to another ecosystem, I think. For me, I have a PC and I am in love with my S24 Ultra. I have been a Note person for years and I came from the Note20 (I was a holdout), so the S24 and I are loving life right now. This phone is a monster. What can it not do? I have it watching CNN, MSNBC, and Sky News at the same time, and I can select which one sends audio. I can select if I want the audio of one to go to Bluetooth and the audio of another to the speaker on the phone. I can have Waze running and Spotify in the car running at the same time on the screen, and it is fine. There is no awkward finger bending to take photos. I have TWO shutter release buttons on the screen at any time, and I don’t need to use either of them-I can use the S-Pen, which I do all the time, especially for selfies. I can take pictures of the moon handheld, which blows people’s minds. I can take pictures of the moon on my tripod, which put my mirrorless to shame. I have a 200-megapixel camera and 100x zoom. I have the 200-megapixel camera for wide shots that make sure everything is in focus-even at night. This phone is just the daddy. Every feature is a winner. I can customize it to the degree I want. I have 9 apps on the bottom of my home screen. NINE. Everything I use is in a folder. This phone is loud, has great speakers, and the screen is just to die for. I have held the iPhone 15 Pro Max and I like it. It feels luxurious and seems like a very capable phone. It is NOTHING compared to what this phone can do. There is NOTHING that other phones can do that this phone cannot do that anyone wants to be able to do. Brownlee says, “Why would anyone get anything else?”-I think that is the quote. Why get anything else when this phone gives you everything? Literally everything. I didn’t even mention DeX or the complete integration into Windows 11. Honestly, this post could be another 5 pages long. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the ultimate phone-I have no idea how they are going to top it. I have seen the specs for the S25 Ultra and I am unimpressed. I have 7 years of updates to get-why am I even thinking about upgrading? What would I upgrade to? Where is there to go? Nowhere. This phone will be the ultimate phone for another few years yet. Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. Good phone but not any sort of competition-not even close. Not even close at all.

Everyone is talking about Apple Intelligence....1) It will not be available in Europe...allegedly. 2) It's going to take them the next 3-9 months to release the features..similar to Google's Pixel releases. I remember being on the fence about getting S24 Ultra when it released. But I just went ahead and got it on... Day 2. I can't even be bothered with phones when I look at the specs. If it doesn't have an SD slot, that phone is just not worth considering. Like, I really wanted to switch over to the new Fold. But those specs were still below that of the S24 Ultra. The outer display was cool, but smaller. All of its hardware, lower in performance. Then you have the new iPhone... It might take better pictures.

I agree with everything you said about the phone except the ending where you said that people are forgetting about the s24 ultra. I think it's still very relevant and it is still on many peoples radars. 2024 is definitely the year that most Apple users have switched to Samsung, and the iPhone 16 is yet another small step forward and two steps back. @techwithbenefits No, no, I only have UHD 30 with no HDR10+. Every time I press record, the time indicator doesn't turn red for 1 second, and then it goes red. So, it takes 2 seconds to go from 00:00:00 to 00:00:01. Thanks very much for trying to help, even though you have no obligation to do so.

It's not. My co-workers ask me to take the photos because all 3 of 5 of us had iPhone but my s22 ultra takes the better photos. Even my s8+ took better quality photos... Their photos don't compare. I have 3 iPad so not hating on Apple, just honesty. Apple is good for what it's good for and the same with Android.

I was at the apple store just yesterday seeing if iphone 15 pro could compare with my s24 ultra and should I pre-order iphone 16 pro... Well the cameras on the iphone are so average compared to s24 ultra, I decided to keep this one and trade-in for the s25 ultra in Feb... And that display on the iphone..!! It looks so cluttered, I just love the edge panel on my galaxy, all my apps are staked there and I like to keep my display clean with just my fav picture as background...

I think the S24 ultra beats iphone 16 in every way except for one: Apple Intelligence. I have the Z Fold 6 right now and with both bixby and google assistant i can't do the things that siri is now capable of doing. With Samsung I need to use two different assistants just to get somewhat close to siris capabilities. For example: siri can now find all the pictures from a specific date and then text them to someone all with a voice command. Bixby can find pictures from a specific date but it can't then text them to someone. If I try to have it do that it gets confused and brings up some prompt about needing to go to gallery to edit photos. Imo Siri now dominates all other AI helpers. Samsung really needs to get bixby on the same level as siri. Bixby can't even do some basic things that google assistant is able to and vice versa.
