What makes Jujutsu Shenanigans actually unique from other is the graphics and the fact it allows player to channel their building skills on a game instead of needing a pc for roblox studios. i think at the core of everything, behind the charm and jank, jjs works because the dev, tze, actually cares about his game and doesnt treat it like a product to sell. every character and every move ooze thought and care made from someone who wanted to create a fun experience the BG community has never seen before. it's comparable to pressure in that both games go farther than taking the formula into their own game, and they instead implement new mechanics that flow with the game. jjs really feels like a passion project in a sea of heartless cashgrabs.

The main selling point for me is that the movement feels fluid. Most other battle grounds games feel clunky and slow, but JJS is different.

The reason why jjs is so popular is a lot of factors mixed together at the same time. Rather than being a good game, it was made popular when roblox was kinda dead, sorcerer bg was dying due to its creator and tze was doing great weekly updates and it was also innovative with the r system. This made jjs a POPULAR game which doesn’t mean good. Tze stopped doing updates and the game slowly dies like tsb. Jujutsu beatdown would be incredibly good if people knew it, it’s starting to get a boom and it has 10k players but I hope it can increase since objectively it’s the best jjk game right now with the best mechanics and one of the most fun

I think it's entirely about what you're looking for in a community. I've been playing JJS for nearly a year now, and outside of the in-game toxic individuals (that exist within every fighting game), the JJS community has always been a fun group of people. A lot of times, I find that friends of this game, after playing for a good hour or so, suggest hopping over to tsb for a bit, or even realms rampage. Obviously if you're looking for the worst parts of a community, you'll nearly always find them, but with JJS it's nowhere near as big of a crowd as OP suggested

I just did a chair fight and fought against the king of curses as the ulter mahito jumper and gave him a free world tour

JJS is the only game that doesnt take it self seriously but somehow still looks absolutely fantastic other bg HEAVILY rely on cutscenes while jjs has 0 and still puts out some of the most entertaining looking combat of all time for example all of mahitos ult moves are just made FANTASTICALLY i feel like if any bg game tried any of these moves with a cutscene it would take away from the combat and even downgrade the beauty of it
